I hope you enjoy this little "winter to spring" home tour. I look forward to switching simple things out as the seasons change and I was happy to share a few things with you. 😊
Thanks for the video. You have a lovely home. I love the simplicity and uncluttered nature of it. What I do for Christmas is traditional colors but not a lot of Christmas themed stuff. So once I clear away my trees (yes, more than one) 😁. I’m left with reds and plaids that I leave out through February (for Valentines). I hang my heart shaped wreath on the front door and that’s it. March first, I switch the wreath for a shamrock ☘️ one and switch out the red for greens and whites. April, May, and June I’m in spring/summer mode. So that gives me a 3 month period to rest my changing decor a bit. I use tablecloths so those get changed based on how dirty they get if they can be spot cleaned or need a full wash. Mid June I start with patriotic colors but without overdoing it too much. August I start with fall colors which is my favorite season to decorate for. That lasts until mid October when I gently usher in Christmas. I have to start early to have enough time since fall and Christmas all the halls are decked 😄.
Thank you so much for sharing that! I love how you shift things with the seasons. Some day, I hope to have more than one tree, too. ☺️ Thanks for watching!
That’s a very interesting diffuser. I need something like that just a tad smaller. I don’t have the space for that size 😊 but I like the fact that you can see the mist forming like a science project 😁
I have pinecones that I have collected and have those gathered in a storm lantern. I add some greenery to those. I add a few neutral cushions in with the ones that have Autumn coloured trees on them. I love that you don't buy loads of new things but change what you have.
Thrift hauls and how you use them in your decor. Where do you find your dishes? I do decorate for spring and summer I add in more flowers and plants along with color. I love your home and would love to see a tour of the different areas you have add touches to.
Your home is absolutely lovely. I am still working on my home decor and have not quite gotten to the next step of decorating for seasons. I would love to see all your vintages dishes. They are stunning!
I love your open shelving I tried to have it but would not use the dishes unless I washed them. I have a dog though. So put cabinets up. I love the look though. Love your home and I use to do seasonal dishes but went to Corell' ware white, I am older, and they are light and I can then add different pieces to it. I love the blue and white dishes the best. Your home is warm and inviting us to come in.
Thank you for this tour of your beautiful home! I love your french cottage look. That gorgeous, large, clay/cement-looking flower vessel on your coffee table really caught my eye and I'm wondering if it was DIY?
Thank you for sharing this video! Where do you like to get your faux flowers? The arrangement on the mantle above your fireplace inside the swan vase was my favorite!
Beautiful! I love your decor style. Thank you for the inspiration. I found your channel through Lisa from the farmhouse on Boone. Would you please share where your pillow covers are from? The ones with the fringes
Hey Liz! Do you have a source for that blue and white rug in your living room? It looks like maybe it’s not a fuzzy rug, but more of a flat weave? I have a low pile “fuzzy” rug in my living room and we get so much traffic in there that I feel my two year old rug already looks matted and . Maybe a flat woven rug would be a better solution?
I just came across your channel I love your home and style.Could you tell me where you got the scroll with the 3 roses you have in your bathroom ? Thank you
