Nice house ☺️but please make the screen full view !!! What’s the purpose to give us a little sliver her whole house is beautiful there’s no reason to make most of the screen black please change back to WIDE SCREEN 📺 so I can enjoy what she’s trying to show . 😕
If you're going to use an iPhone to record a video for public consumption, why not just hold it in the landscape orientation? This weird little portrait view video looks like your teenage daughter recorded it.
She's young and clearly a very talented designer! Toastmasters would be a great addition to her professional networking groups. 😆$0.05 for every um would cure that after just a few meetings! ( Not sure they do drinking games but maybe after the meeting lol... That could actually be fun, Would be very tipsy after this video)!💕 I've seen this video before. I can't believe how strikingly beautiful and what a unique decorating voice she has! Definitely a tastemaker and design star!
I had to stop watching because the constant umm every few seconds was irritating me so much. Lovely home with a lot of personality. I love unique homes like this one. Sick of seeing the same style copied over and over.
Lake Forest is a 34 minute drive from Chicago which NO ONE in their right mind would ever go to. It is a SHAME that the successful business people in Chicago, Seattle, Portland, NY, etc. have not spoken up about the violent crime in their cities. Imagine if successful restauranteurs spoke up against BLM and Antifa, and spoke in support of the police. If only the millionaire class cared about the children of this country, instead of their own personal safety and bank accounts. By the way, in my own state, I led a state-wide initiative that made it illegal to use a restraining order to deny a parent access to their child. I had to get my own funding for the nearly 2-years of work, and did not use any government resources. The feminist controlled organizations {which are completely government funded and their employees make big salaries} tried to stop me. The black legislative caucus in my state supported my initiative, and the governor signed it into law.
Oh please. I have friends that live in Chicago. They're doing just fine. So letting a domestic abuser around their kids is a good thing now lol. They'll all grow up to be abusers too thanks to you Karen. You should feel proud. Go to college because you have no idea what you're talking about. Racist!
Beautiful! But imagine having to clean/ dust the trellis room? How would you ever get all those little corners clean? Ahhh... my pocketbook and mind are too poor I suppose!
Thank you for the tour! I learned about Embrasure doors, I did not know what they were called, until now. I am crazy for the tortoiseshell ceiling, it makes the library really special. I liked the "quiet moments" ceiling as well, and those torchieres and mirrored walls in the entry way, and the lacquered black steps, the built in butler's pantry closets everywhere, the moldings. Made me happy. Thank you!
I agree I have been trying to describe Embrasure doors my whole life,so happy now I can speak with knowledge lol. we are moving to an apartment and these doors are perfect for those spaces

Clearly very talented designer. Very well thought out. Nothing looks outdated. Very useful indeed. It’s a shame all these people buying million dollar homes then filling them w Restoration Hardware furniture now.
That impressed me too how long she has had her things with just a few updates here and there. She said she replaced the solarium sofa “recently” five years ago and decorated the living room twenty years ago. Classic. Timeless.

They filmed it with the mobile phone in a vertical position, when you hold the mobile phone horizontally the images fill the RU-vid dimensions, otherwise you get the unsightly black spaces on either side.
Beautiful home and great tour everything was nicely done. Love the cabinets/closets to store china and glasses. The history of the house, the doors, the lamps, the storytelling was so good she has such a great voice and tone.
