HOME UPDATE: i finally got a bed frame, thrifted an armoire, new large art piece, and fan art !! 

girl, I SO recommend a second pillow. you deserve two pillows even if you’re single.

Just an idea... put 3 baskets that match the style on top. Store t-shirts in them. Use the clear glass storage for pretty things. Great armoire!

Nice armoire 👏👏👏Suggestion: Arrange all your glasses and jewelry inside the glass shelves and put t-shirts on the bottom shelves and out of sight. It will look so much neater and organized 💕 The little paintings are so adorable, frame them in antique gold frames and decorate your room, they will look so cuteee 😀

I would use the desk area as storage for your t-shrts, and the glass sections for small jewelry boxes and perfume bottles, and really cute hand and face cream containers....you know, the cute girly stuff. Hi Paige! I’m So happy you loved the art! Just so you know, the “3d” art was actually on accident😂 I made a mistake and so I cut out the chair and put it on a new piece of paper so it looked cleaner but it ended up making a 3d effect so there you go🤣❤️⭐️ Also I loved this home update!

Paige, you have so many sweet aunties in the comments wanting to take care of you-making sure you cut your onions safely, that you use a mattress pad, and that you put earthquake security tape on the art above your bed… I love it! It shows how endearing you are to your viewers. At first I wondered if you would take those comments as criticism, but I kind of see the advice as big virtual hugs from mommas and grandmas (and grandpas) who have wisdom to impart to those they care about. It cracks me up.

The armoire is lovely! I think the little rail under the mirror is for neckties or scarves, but you could also use it for belts.

For your large piece at 8:40, I recommend panel moulding. You can paint it and cut it to size and it's great for framing items that are huge and can go on the wall as opposed to being framed.

I love the little personal paintings and THAT ARMOIRE!!! I'm so into vintage furniture. I'd make a little photo wall with the small personal paintings over the armoire. OR put some baskets up there to store stuff. Put clear contact paper on the glass doors to sort of hide what's in there. It just makes it look like frosted glass.

Love the armoire! If you want to disguise the t-shirts behind the glass, could get "fluted glass" peel and stick contact paper. Great update!

Just an idea, move the t-shirts to where the bags are, move the bags to the old t-shirt storage in the lounge (choosing a bag from the lounge is more convenient than choosing clothes from there) and then display pretty things behind the glass doors. The first thing you see in the morning should be beautiful and inspirational. Use that pretty display case in the armoire for happy displays.

Love the armoire. They used to have them in large hallways in the 1920s/1930s, in a vicarage or a gentleman’s residence. I have a vintage glass sliding door where I put shoes. Sliding doors are a great space saver.

Love the armoire! Truly sickening how gorgeous it is! Hate the t-shirt placement; looks messy AF. Have you thought about rolling your t-shirts lengthwise? 3 advantges: They won't have crease marks. Rolling items saves space, so you can get more in there. Most importantly, it will look neater behind the glass.

Most people seem to do the big bedroom rug that’s partially under the bed. I have 3 smaller rugs, one on each side and one at the foot. Sometimes two will match, sometimes none. I have one knotted rug on one side that’s bigger than the others because there’s more room there. I have a thing for rugs and have a pretty fair-sized collection. I can’t wait to see what you choose.

I'm so happy to see you promote Brooklinen! I LOVE their products and have used them for years! The sheets are so crisp and comfy. They hold up to repeat washings well. I recently splurged and bought a duvet cover and now I'll never go back to a traditional comforter. They have an episode on "How I Built This" that talks about the origin of the company that is well worth a listen!

TINY LAMP OPPORTUNITY inside your armoire secretary desk! Lighting behind the sliding glass doors would be fun too. Do you have any vintage hats, purses or shoes that you could light and display. I like to hang glasses and sunglasses from vases. Anything else you could organize in your vase collection? Hand cream tubes, makeup brushes. At least a nice bowl or jewelry box would make a nice display. At a raw minimum, stow the Ts in wicker or fabric baskets The pull-down secretary screams to be used as a vanity because it can hide so much. IMPORTANT opportunity to compensate for limited vanity storage in the bathroom. And you can still have fun arranging combs, brushes, scissors, mascara, hair products in vases or vintage bowls. Maybe a lighted makeup mirror? LOVE, Love, love that armoire! Such a find. Also love the original drawing. Worth investing in a well made frame with proper cross bracing to prevent the long thin sides from bowing and showing the edge of the glass. I love the way art framed behind glass reflects lights and images. Really expands a space without being as obvious as a mirror.

I love Art Deco. A lot of people go heavy MCM, which I love as well, but sleep on Art Deco. I plan to get an Art Deco headboard and high boy dresser for my bedroom. It will mix well with an Asian style desk/vanity and some MCM accessories I have. Art Deco and MCM mix really well and MCM is kind of a continuation. Mixing these styles in your room is a win. I agree with others who say to make the clear display part of the armoire decorative with sunglasses, jewelry, maybe even a fancy bag, and a piece of art.

Chefs kiss to every thing! I think the glass display could be used for the bags or something more “display worthy” than folded T-shirts. Maybe swap around the bags and shirts spots?

I would still put two pillows on my bed - even single. I think it’s the symmetry of having two. Plus then you can prop your phone up on one or sit up with two behind you.

some people don't like TVs in their bedroom but i'm imagining a small screen in that little desk pull out of your armoire! btw i might be weird but i rly enjoy watching people organize and style their spaces- i just love the process of it all. would be so cool to see even more of that

That piece of furniture is amazing!!! If it was mine, I’d store shirts in a side table next to the bed and use the glass area to display jewelry and other pretties. Maybe shirts can go in the desk portion if you don’t use it as a desk.

I once had a bed frame with edges like that and it absolutely murdered my shins. Never again.
