Just curious... would we be able to measure input impedance using a similar U/I method by putting a small shunt in series and measuring a voltage drop across it using an oscilloscope, or is that method better suited for something else? (can't always be bothered with LTSpice) Thanks :) 9A3ICE
I was thinking the something similar, but went with convenience. I will have to put some more thought into it. In the past, I have simply relied upon Rin = R1//R2//BetaAC(re + Re) where re = 26/Ic in mA, and Re is the unbypassed portion of Re.
