Have you talked about sellers negotiating repair costs requested by the buyer? Will it kill a deal if the seller simply says “No” to paying for any repairs when they’ve already dropped the price through counter offers?
Note that it's a toss up between states Florida and Texas... geee.. I wonder why so people int these two states specifically were forced to walk away from a potential sale? I'd be interested in the stats as to why many of those homeowners were selling and whether or not it was that they are/were FLEEING these two um.. Red States. And yes, politics and the political and EDUCATION landscape does play into the equation (especially when there is redlining and such which would effect their approval if the buyers are minorities.. despite this "oh they can't discriminate" "assurance") . There are always SO many OTHER factors not mentioned which influence the housing market. And many more as to why buyers are walking away, especially post-Pandemic.
