Is it beneficial to have a Medical license as they only pay $15 an hour here in Marysville CA. This is why IHSS is embedded in each county to provide home care services rather than go through private home care. While caregivers are paid a minimum of $17.50, can someone that have more details explain more information if this is really beneficial to home care agencies?

I think most of us are non-medical home care agencies and don't qualify for certification with Medicare as we are not "home health care". As far as Medi-cal, the list of providers does not have "home care organization" or "home health care" listed at all. I'm wondering if this is done through IHSS , I am in california.Thank you so much for all of your info!

Hi ma’am! I live in Florida and I am currently in the process of becoming a Medicaid provider there is a form that I need to fill out I think it’s for me to register with the state it cost $50.25 do you know the name of the form and how do I get it. Thank you 🙏
