I believe it is the Black girl who shows strength in this situation and hardly a word of recoginition or praise towards the young lady that was actually crowned Queen. People are still sick in the good ole USA. Sister you should have kept your crown. Clearly your sacrifice is barely even recognized in the statements accompanying this clip. Sad. What comments? There's literally ONE comment saying the white girl's mom would be proud of her - a very general comment not referring to this story. What IS ignorant, is your remark that the black girl should not have given her crown to her best friend whose mother had just died, because one person commenting on a video sharing the story didn't praise the black girl to a level you found sufficient? Or is it just because the friend is white? How pathetically petty. Only selfish people perform acts of kindness for praise. For humanity's sake, I hope your comment was written at the end of a bad day and not because you're a miserable POS who believes every action - even between BFFs - requires an equivalent measure of compensation. That's like putting a couple coins in a homeless man's hand and expecting anybody who saw it to publicly announce how great you are or getting upset when you don't receive a thank you card in the mail.
