My brother in law laughed when I told him I peel the skins from my garbanzo beans. I don't like the skins and my hummus is so much creamier! Reconstituted roasted garlic cloves is a game changer! I don't have the space to grow or store garlic but I can certainly purchase and freeze dry. Thank you for showing this is possible. Love your little Barbie dutch oven!

Sweetie, stick like 4 or 5 cloves in that sleeve and roll it, rather then 1 at a time

Put about 10 cloves at a time in a canning jar. Close it and vigorously shake a few moments. This will take off the papers in a much quicker fashion then one at a time.

Hi Bre, I love to watch your channel but I always miss the actual harvest, the plant up close and the picking up, the girls eating, everything is very far away except the kitchen parts. If you prefer to freeze dry garlic cloves whole, smash them a bit to partially split it. This will help expose the center to make it easy to freeze dry.

Try putting pepper and salt and olive oil on the head of garlic and wrap it in aluminum foil and put it on the BBQ for a while like you would with potatoes. Delicious!

I saw a video of how to peel an entire head of garlic in like 10 seconds once. I don’t remember exactly how to do it other than they put it in a bag… definitely something you may want to look up!

Loved seeing the process with the garlic! Being able to preserve it like that will obviously mean you will be able to enjoy it much longer. I'd probably eat it all pretty quickly though lol. It looked so good on crackers like that!

A tip for peeling garlic quickly is putting them in a bowl and slowly pouring boiling water over them. After a minute or two the skins peel off cleanly and easily and doesn't take as much time so I like to do it when I peel garlic in bulk amounts ❤.

Try washing and thoroughly drying okra before cutting into the pods for less slime. In the deep South, once we chop it up, we use the slime to adhere seasoned cornmeal to the slices and then fry it. Delicious!

Hi Bre, I came upon your channel two weeks ago and let me tell you how much I LOVE it and you of course. I could have sworn you were from Philly, but I saw the video you said you are from Kanas. You did say you lived all over so wondering if you ever lived in Philly. You sound and act like you’re a true Philadelphian, LOL I just love how you talk and do those side noises, lol…. Anyway not sure if you will ever read my comment, but know that you have a NEW FAN from PHILLY. P.S. because of you I ordered golden bear sunflowers and paprika seeds. Oxoxoxo Love from Philly💙
