I'm an attorney. I've only ever met one other judge with so much empathy. They're usually so cynical and jaded. He has a gift to see into peoples lives and then feel an oblibgation to help. It's also beautiful and brave of the lady to explain so clearly that homelessness, family issues, autism, loss of job are what she's having to survive at this time in her life.
That's what changes the world, empathy. If we have it for ourselves, we will be able to express the difficulties that we are having and if we have it to others, we won't judge them without compassion, instead we will understand those struggles.
come meet judges in Houston, TX.. They are nothing more than assholes.. and even bigger assholes are the baliffs in houston.. Nothing good to say about any of them
How many judges like him are out there? What about all the others who end up with a terrible judge? Judges should be trained to be like this, all of them, this need to be the standard.
🙏🏾Father we are praying that the son and the Holy Spirt look over Judge Caprio and heal him as we all know that you are the only one that can heal him. Judge Caprio we are praying for healing and for you to continue to spread your love as you do in court and around the world.❤️🩹 Love you
Absolutely. The problem is that in this country, people who do good are ignored unless they have a lot of money. Teacher of the year award, administrator of the year awards, etc. are self-nominated because they want attention and people are greedy. Others do not nominated good people for awards because they don't get anything in exchange. Unfortunately, this is how our society has become.
OMG I really feel this young lady. Although she is homeless she still respectful and has good values. Poor this God bless her and the awesome judge who has a great heart 😊
Oh ffs. He works(ed) (retired now) 4-6 hours per FORTNIGHT in a traffic court! No great "power" there. He's excusing little citizens from their $150 fines. Lmao at you.
I believe he is also very God-fearing, which makes him an even better man to me. He doesn't just "let people off", he uses his mental abilities, experience, and a lot of understanding and empathy to make his decisions. As far as how much he worked or not, I'm sure that he at least looked through the docket every day to know what he was dealing with. That would take anyone 1-2 hrs per day, then he did his job with respect and dignity for another few hours. They also had filming & audio crews there, which adds a bit to the complexity. There's also the large amount of work/support that he has done outside of his job for his community, friends, and family. This is the kind of man that all men should strive to be, period. I have been and will continue to pray for his full healing from the cancer he's fighting. He is a true gem of humanity and should be fully recognized as just that. I only know him from videos, but I believe everything I've written here and until someone shows me otherwise, my views and thoughts about him, and what he has done will stay that way.
My Grandma once told us Children : " If you pay enough attention, you could see Angels on this Earth. " This Judge is an Angel. More and more and more Blessings to him and his loved Ones. ❤
My mom will be gone 8 yrs Nov 27… she always made sure I was never predjudice to anyone and her saying was “we never know the angels unaware” which is the angels along us thing….
I cannot imagine how much Phillimena would be proud of her son. She must have been a wonderful mother. I hope i can find out how to donate to this fund. A compassionate heart can change many lives. Thank you Judge.
I don't care how tough you are. This story would give a lump in the throat and a tear in your eyes. The judge is truly a beautiful human being. Much respect to him.
Just surfing RU-vid and came across this video. It's excusable to see what is going on today and homelessness is a national issue here in Australia but governments don't want to even comment. Even a hospital's canteen is helping those people currently on the streets but this judge sends out a powerful message/s.
@@pittsburghsteelers2838 ...seriously, man.....we HAVE to be more like these people...I try and dio something good for someone every other day...easy one is topay for someone's meal in the drive thru
My heart just sank. I've been homeless before. It's nothing short of horrible. What this judge did for this woman is simply unreal. There's hope, even when you think hope is lost.
@kelseyclarkson506 it's not acting, dear. The judge was my great uncle. & I was there in the courtroom when this happened. So,.. don't talk crap about my uncle or this case if you weren't there. Are you sure your name isn't really "Karen?"
@@kelseyclarkson506if you are saying that the girl is acting, you might be right. But the judge’s compassion has very little to do with her or anyone else. His compassion toward someone who might be trying to take advantage comes from HIS heart and nowhere else. She might have gotten away with something but her actions are not the point of what he demonstrates. He demonstrate the ability to have power and not wield it without mercy.
I’ve been on the business end of a number of judges in my lifetime but the last judge I was in front of was as empathetic as judge Caprio. He changed my life and I have not stood in front of a judge since. Thank you, your honor.
Hello Darling .. is a Bot .. Incapable of empathy .. he trolls a few & leaves insincere replies to others. A pathetic Avatar is all " Hello Darling " is .. The world doesn't need .. Bots like Ella & Hello Darling.
I'm in tears.. Even though I've watched this a few times, it always hit me when the Judge says that everyone should be given a chance in life and we're here to help each other
OMG, that just made me cry, not just well up, but actually cry. This judge deserves some kind of humanitarian award. What a nice guy. I hope the young lady's situation has improved,
This is probably the most sympathetic and compassionate judge on earth. Majority of judges don’t care especially when you tell them your homeless. Thank you judge for being such. Bless her too.
@@braven7426My sister has autism, and tearing up like this is about the most emotion that she'll show naturally. She never really cries because it just doesn't naturally happen, and she says pretending to cry just feels like lying to her. She still feels the emotion, but it just doesn't show itself the way it does for me and (presumably) yourself.
Her “thank you” spoken through her tears brought me to cry with her. This was not some sob story she made up. She’s trying to survive and the compassion shown to her was what she needed.
Im tearing up myself when you think you are doing bad there is somebody thats always doing worst i had to overdraw my acct to buy food to eat bc i didnt have food but thats not the best thing to do bc im broke until i get my next paycheck but at least i got food i feel bad when i have to do that but at least i havea bank acct to do it but just sad to see ppl down and hungry i know how it feel bc i been hungry and down plenty of times thank god for the job and i really wish her well and pray she get on her feet soon ❤❤❤❤❤
This brought me to tears 😢. Judge, most people just need love. You showed that to the WORLD today 👏👏👍👌✨✨✨😇 Blessings to you as well. God bless you and yours 🙏
This man understands the power his position holds. But more importantly, he hasn't forgotten that we are meant to serve each other. This sets him apart from other judges who only see words and law, but miss the actual people standing before them. He is a true asset to our justice system
@@TKUA11 A vagrant means a person with no place to go. The law will do nothing to change that situation. And only ignorant people think that a homeless person should be penalized for being homeless.
With her very gracious and kind demeanour, I have no doubt that this beautiful young lady will continue to move forward to a better place, one step at a time ❤
@@motivationontop6587 How do you even know that she is lazy and not working ? Any receipt to make your statement valid ??? in life we all have our very own fate and chances. Things like this if you never when throught before do not make a JUST A JOKE assumption . Remember..... whatever you say now or before you better wish and pray hard your life will be either balance or better fortune BUT.................... If there is a big hard rock fall upon your life, happiness or even your health such as mental or physically permanent broken, than dont regret for not counting the stars :) And im not trying to play a good role model or even a god..... im just sad looking or even hearing our very own humanity treating this toxicness at each other and im here just advising you only so pls dont take it to your heart . Have a nice day
Kindness was taught to him by his mother (hence the Philomena Fund) and he is teaching us all that kindness goes much further than being a hard-nosed judge. This young lady will remember what he did for the rest of her life! Hopefully, she will get a chance to share the kindness he gave to her with someone who needs it like she did. Too bad there aren't more judges/people like him! 💕💕😇
That's wat i love about Judge Frank Caprio he is a real peoples man. Now he needs our love and support. It's our turn now to give back. So let's send him the rainbow and happy thoughts and well wishes every day.
This judge is the most caring of all the judges that I've met in my entire life,an angel from heaven for sure. Lord please watch over him and help him beat the cancer.🙏✝️
I nearly cried watching this. It's like a glimmer of hope in a dark tunnel of life. This Judge is an amazing human being demonstrating compassion. Our country needs more Judges like him.
Jude is a human being. That was why he did kindness to homeless girl. She is some what honest . She should be looked after by some kind of institutions run for caring women. Really pity on her.
Watching this actually made me tear up quite a bit. If all judges were like judge frank caprio, this country would be a much better place to live in if you're faced with having to go to court one day.
The world needs more judge's like you honourable judge Caprio. You turn the negative to positive with all your cases.Everyone leaves the court with a smile. God Bless you and ur family good health and happiness always have faith be safe .
Are you serious? The UN couldnt even be bothered to treat those children that were seriously wounded in the American lead illegal wars on poor nations such as, Afghanistan and Iraq. All those children who got caught in the middle were completely INNOCENT and some lost arms and legs as well as their whole families as a result of American lead bombings ordered by Mr Bush while, the UN officials stood by and watched as if it was a circus.
Imagine if we had more judges and people working in government who were genuine and really cared for people in their communities. This judge is an angel. ❤😊
This judge is the example of how every judge, who works and gets paid by the public, should act and treat people. We need 5,000 more of him to bring society some relief.
Whenever I need some renewed faith in humanity, I watch these videos. Nowhere else can I see such kindness and generosity by the Judge, but also ownership and accountability from those in his court. I wish more people could recognize that just because we look like we have it together, 95% of us are struggling with something. Being kind to one another is our entire purpose in life. Thanks, Judge!
Yes, True. Jesus had tought those exact words, "HELP OND ANOTHER. "( Roman's 12:10📜). To the other gentleman Giving her food, that's what is written. Hebrews 6:10📜. God is not unjust, HE will not forget your work/deed and love you have shown HIM. God bless you all kind people , I pray in Jesus name. HalleluYah Amen. To God be the Glory 🙏🏿🔥❤️
This is the sort of people that the world needs. Fatherly, composed, firm, but with a heart like a candle, that melts so easily. Everyone deserves a chance. his words are so touching. I loved when he said - its easy to be tough and say thats how it should be, but sometimes we have to look at things with empathy. He gave me so much to introspect about myself, to learn and to grow better.
People like Judge Frank Caprio are the people this world needs. We don't need promises of salvation, we need real humanity. People like this man make me - as a German - still believe in the American Dream, the universal dream, of freedom and justice.
I love Providence and its people. I have lived and worked there, and my parents ashes are buried there in its stunning Swan Point Cemetery. This judge represents the heart of that lovely city. ❤
Almost had me tear up. I feel her pain, I feel it. I'm currently homeless with no family due to of being a orphan, and foster homes. Very happy to see her smile, it's worth every moment. This judge is an angel no doubt about it. What a kind hearted man..
You wanna give her a hug....she seems so sweet and nice despite everything she's going through, and is struggling to keep it together in the beginning. It's really ludicrous in a nation as prosperous as ours that anybody should have to go hungry, or without a decent home or not be paid enough for a decent standard of living. We have a tiny percentage of people with more wealth than hundreds of millions of citizens combined...just them paying a fraction of the taxes they should be paying could do so much for so many people. It makes me angry thinking about it. Here's hoping things turn around for you man.
It’s so rare to find people like this…he wants nothing in return…other than to see you succeed and help others as you have been when you are in the position…this man is the definition of paying it forward. I pray for judge caprio every night…never met the man…but he’s helped me from across the country for such a long time now!!
"When things turns around for you, you have to help someone else" - that is so good! It gives hope and it gives a chance to make her feel important to someone else and not just someone who needs help. That´s inspiring!
Do you guys have ANY IDEA what an amazing world we could have if every judge was not just FIRE AND BRINSTONE but had the same loving, giving heart like Judge Frank Caprio. When he gets to Heaven he'll have THOUSANDS of people who will meet him there and thank him for all the times he helped them down here on Earth. God Bless You, Judge Frank Caprio.
What can one possibly say? Judge Caprio, I love you, doesn't begin to cover it. With all the sad and tragic things the Judge has seen, over many years, he still has the kindest heart in the world, and is ready to give people a second chance. And the Philomena Fund is named after his mother. Tells you all you need to know about why he is the person he is.
This just makes my heart heavy with sympathy. Alot of people have real problems out here and there. It's on us to help fellow humans as much as we can however and whenever we can. Wouldn't the word be a better place that way?
This Judge is one in a million. The way he treated this young lady is commendable. I’m hoping her life takes a turn for the good. Many blessings for her.
