I was homeless from out of state in January-april of 2022 and left the area near the end of March, the red tp @13:35 was my first tent and it was flooded due to lots of rain ended up buying a new tent and put it across from the old one crazy to see how the area changed and didn't change but managed to get enough money for a bus back home to my home state and eventually got a job and slowly getting my life back together
As a citizen who lives in South America I am horrified to see how in all the states of the US this problem that has originated in these latitudes and that we suffer daily has been entrenched little by little like a cancer
About three years ago, me and my husband slept right outside the community kitchen right across the street from that homeless camp that wasn’t there three years ago but AnyWho we now have her own apartment and very good jobs. I am extremely blessed to come at four but my heart will always be for the homeless, especially their.
They got another one it’s bigger than all those it’s called tent city well that’s what the streets call it. It’s by Alton park. Which is a area that looks decent do to the conditions of the houses but it’s a bad area, and the tents or all ducked off in the woods where it’s hard to see them but that area is crazy as well
Homelessness is going to get worse. This is by design. The world is a sad place. What have we become. The powers that be want most of us to live in poverty.
They keep raising the rents so only the white collar people can afford them!! I’m in Atlanta and I live in a remodeled older apt complex and they just raised my rent almost 300 dollars!! I can barely pay the rent! I’m a high end hairdresser who charges close to 80.00 a haircut!

I used to live in rossville ga for 8 years got a job in the delivery business for sears ND lowes and home depo I got to see the real side of Chattanooga and its just nasty as a land field they dump all the city sewage and all the city garbage in the river at knight while people are sleeping and the real reason why there are homeless people is because jobs only want to pay you 7.25 a hour and they cutt your hours so you don't make anything to live on and besides 90 percent of the people that live there think there better then you and think that there above God and think there shit is platinum
There are a lot of very rich and supposedly Christian people in Chattanooga that won't give you the time of day unless you are in their circle or clique. It's that way with work, business, politics, local government, schools etc. The upper crust of Chattanooga love to ram things down the throats of the local "little people" and make them like it. I was involved in a few business associations and some of the local school board members were in the same clubs. They bragged about forcing people to raise taxes or take away kids sports if they didn't vote for new taxes. I said "so take it away....it's extracurricular....they need to learn reading and math". I was shunned. They didn't like that idea. They just used threats as a tool for the increase in property taxes.

They are located mainly here because there is a soup kitchen and a homeless health clinic and resource center at this spot. The soup kitchen gives three meals a day,has restroom/showers,and even has laundry and a shelf to charge your electronics at. Plus the community center/kitchen opens there doors when temps hit 32 and below for a limited number to sleep inside to stay warm instead of figuring out how to heat and stay warm in your tent
This is why most seem to be happy plus many people donate clothes and goods occasionally for those who need it so even tho they are homeless and living on the streets they have it fairly decent
There not bothering you because your safe in the vehicle. When your poor and have to walk through there and/or East Chatt they will aggressively approach you and demand "give me a dolla" If theres more than 3 of them at a time you better be good at running. I never stayed there any of the times I was homeless because I'm not mean enough to handle it.
Lost my leg last yr got denied disability so I can’t work while it’s been appealed, I’ve lost everything I own , I’m just 45 an had a bad motorcycle accident, I had a great life before last oct, homelessness can happen so quick, I’m homeless an struggle every day just to eat, so please be kind , one accident an this could be you

@@FLORIDAHOODVLOGS I’ve read it many times my friend god is before anything else in my life, an I wasn’t trying to be rude in anyway I was only telling other people, an yes your right most people I encounter daily either have a drug or drinking issue , an yes I also see people who just come during the day an leave at night when they’ve begged the money for whatever they needed, I’m actually sitting behind a warehouse right now using their free Wi-Fi, its pretty cold tonight but I’ll be ok , an I hope people get something out of your videos an always remember to be kind it’s free, godbless my friend have a great night all we have is time an last year when my leg was amputated I seen something in the 20 min it took for the ablulance to get to me an it changed me forever, I realize now time an love are the most precious

Most people are homeless cause they wanna be I was in the job fair here in Chattanooga and most people came just to show they were looking for a job they really didn’t want to work
Plus if they would have been through there around meal time they would have seen most of the people who live within there standing in line waiting to enter to eat food or get food to take back to there "home"(tent)

I was a homeless ones, there's plenty help in Chattanooga to get out of the streets, the video it's fine, the boom Howard accent wannabe and the meaningless comments could have been avoided.

This is the nastiest part of the city. More homeless concentrated right here than any where else in Chatt, sucks that it's right in front of station too. If you drive through this neighborhood during their busy hours you definitely get bothered while in your car as their swarming the street. Such a bad problem with dirty needles and feces. They're using that entire sidewalk as a bathroom and doing drugs openly
Well people have too go to the restroom and business won’t let them use theirs, so welcome to the streets. It would be better to install portable toilets and maintain them, then clean crap 💩 off the sidewalks.
Sad how people see them as Nothing at All but you never know what tomorrow will bring you, one those homeless will teach a millionaire the game one day coming how this world is winding down too

Cuz I've actually been homeless, and I know it's not politically correct to say but some of them deserve it, there are lots of people that need help and deserve help, and there are some people, like the ones that leave needles all over the place, that deserve nothing, I don't care if someone wants to shoot up but at least they can not litter and throw their stuff away properly,
