My mother lives and is from Chattanooga. I lived there for 8 yrs. I lived of Dodds Ave. Not a safe area but I still love it.

Exactly you’d have to live there go to high school there etc it sucks they are closed minded people forget it’s the south and they have southern mentalities so sure if your heteronormative and cisgender and don’t ever step out of line or act different in any way that’s considered odd your good

That's BS. I hate that people spread that mentality. I have lived in Chattanooga for 24 years. Almost everyone I've met is friendly and open to anyone. I certainly don't fit the southern stereotype. When I moved here, I was a little put off by the way every woman I met wanted to hug on our first visit! I thought it was fake. I was wrong. It's real.@Nooneoneoneoeneone

would be interesting to have what changed for you compared to California. we are desperatlytrying to leave... interested in weather and natural catastrophy, taxes, living quality, educational system, cost of living etc.

Pretty much all of downtown at this point. This is also coming from a Acworth transplant from 8 years ago. Do you want them blasting your favorite local spots on RU-vid? Favorite bar? Go to Brew and Cue on Rossville Blvd any given night for an interesting local experience 🤣
