She and her team literally went out of their way to destroy this man's "home" and to possibly find criminal charges against him. She deserves to be homeless.
She sure did..straight hater. And ppl wonder why asians are being attackt in souther california tss..she was not losing anything because of his genarator tss..straight hater.
These people actually went to see if he was doing something illegal by charging his stuff up. So I am sure the city will now make sure that he is roughing it like all the other homeless people by not allowing him to charge his stuff up and calling his setup a fire hazard.
@@ResetTheGameofLifeonce you realize it’s not the governments place but your own as a human, to take care of yourself, your life becomes so much easier.
My biggest concern is what’s to stop anyone from robbing this guys things? He has a bunch of expensive gear and electronics. I don’t understand how it would last even a week without getting stolen.
I’ve read three ‘news articles’ for this story and not a single one of them questioned the idea of charging a generator by plugging it in to electricity, which is what you do to a battery. It’s literally in the name that a generator has to generate electric current from a non-electric source, like diesel, solar, or with a crank or pedal I guess there’s no requirements for journalists to be knowledgeable about a subject, or do research, or think critically.
@@sickjuicysjamshack3580 UHHH who said anything about charging a generator. Read my comment before trying to reply. If he knows electrical, he can install an outlet inside that panel and tap into that power source.
Shame on the news station for trying to create more problems for this man. They went out of their way to let the station know someone is using one of their outlets every couple days. She seemed upset that she didn't get the exact answer she was expecting.
This is why I think it’s funny people are in raged about illegal immigrants, the homeless Americans are way more a problem and leave a mess. Latinos are clean and take pride in what they have.
If you really think his living too luxurious then live like him. Just because his homeless doesn't mean his in drugs or has mental problems.. have you seen the rent prices?? Its unaffordable! Shame on the reporter for making it seem like his more of a criminal then someone who's just struggling. As well as putting him in danger by disclosing his location.
Agree with you!! Already pushing that narrative, if it was a white or black person, it would of gone something more along the lines of their, victims of the system and currently down on their luck.
You don't think he's using drugs? Then why did he say, "I signed up for housing, not rehab."? Do you live near this area? Would you want to deal with tents lining the streets everyday? How big must it get before you personally decide enough is enough?
You’re reaching. Nowhere in the segment did the reporter make it seem like he was a criminal. If anything Fox News is the one assigning her and airing this story
I loved how inventive he was and made the best out a bad situation. But shame on that news station and the reporters for trying to dime him out. That was cold blooded.
@@Needglory23 he was born Bethlehem (now Palestine) which is in Asia. So technically, he was Asian. But not EAST asian the west assumes all asians should look like
Well he honestly shouldn't. I'm not saying to harrass him, but it's not respectable behavior. I go to the gym across the street from this person (L.A. fitness in hollywood and vine, and for I'd say a good 6 months and it's not like he's quietly living in his tent. He's taking up 80% of the sidewalk so you can barely walk if not just go into traffic in a busy intersection with a 4 way. Not only that but he blasts his music at night so that's not really being a respectable human being in my opinion. He's already living free on the sidewalk taking the electricity from the light post where he tried to hide his wires in the interview. There's no "charging station" in union station haha... They have police patrol pretty much round the clock since March, and I've personally seen his tent have wires stick out with the light post. All in all, I'm not saying to harrass the guy and hope he gets robbed, but he's not respectable let alone even halfway decent. He's a guy mooching off a light post, blasting music at night, playing video games sometimes with his projector, and taking up a sidewalk where footrafic is heavy in a four way intersection.
She was clearly trying to get him into trouble. But also he’s clearly stealing power from the opened access port on the light pole. You don’t ‘charge’ a generator, you charge a battery, and there’s no way a battery can contain 2 weeks’ worth of electricity
He seems like he would be a good candidate for a sanctioned camping spot. He doesn't seem to be on drugs or creating a HAZMAT site. Having a site where he could secure his belongings would make getting jobs easier.
@@nadinegue7765 Nor did I. I'm sure that being able to secure his things would be beneficial to him. I don't know how he gets the resources he has but I don't think it is unreasonable for us to expect him to put forth some effort to support himself so that we can have our sidewalk back.
Oh boo hoo if people are going to live in a place we tax payers are going to flip bill for then, our house our rules. Don't like it that's fine you risk losing your crap to city cleanup. I ain't paying for storage space for him on top of everything else
I live on this block. People talking about his location has now been disclosed, he’s 2 blocks from Hollywood and Vine, a major intersection and there are at least 30 other homeless tents set up within a couple of blocks. It’s not like he’s at some obscure remote location. He’s had this entertainment setup for months now and somehow his stuff hasn’t been stolen yet. At least he keeps his area clean and a space open to walk past on the sidewalk. The 15 homeless tents on the other side of the street just up the block, they take up the entire sidewalk along with extending their stuff several feet into the street. Not only can you not walk there but you have to swerve your car around their stuff in the street.
@@MM-ow2md sadly some come from out of state and need to go back to their home state where they have family support. Housing here does not make sense for those who aren't from cali and have never been able to live here without being homeless.
It hasn’t been stolen probably because he’s strapped and a higher tier of drug dealer. Probably a cartel member blending in with the homeless to sell them their shit
was in hollywood december 2019 walked by a tent in front of a jack in the box the person had electronics set up outside and inside tent people literally go to cali to be homeless .
omg, do you know him personally? sounds like you just threatened to visit him in a harmful way, are you going to hurt him, rob him or send someone else to do that, ? i hope not because now your suspect
Really? You really reported him to the train station? Do they really offer housing, and then treat people that way? Is there a reason? Seems counterproductive.
Wow. Some real classy journalism. I hope she loses everything and has to figure out how to live like he does. She wouldn't make it. Good for him for making THE BEST out of his unfortunate situation. Good for him. I hope hes living his best life possible today.
They don’t want to let go of their drugs. He really said “i can’t take a lighter inside” he doesn’t need a lighter he needs help and he doesn’t want it
no way this bum is allowed to have electricity, a bed, and all those amenities. The gangs would have shook him down for money. And other bums would have robbed him, My educated guess is Pedro is a shot caller. or drug dealer; nice clothes, looks clean well groomed, has tons of electronics other bums would gladly steal.
Susan Hirasuna is a horrible human being, she looked for the story and then tried to have the homeless men in problems one way or another, wow, I would not accept her interview.
That's not how news reporters get their stories. All news stations have an assignment editor and news editor who send the reporters out on a story to cover. They generally do not have the luxury of choosing what stories to ignore and which to report on. KTLA, NBC, ABC, and KCAL all ran similar stories to this, but you aren't complaining about them. Why not?
@@ropeysubstance1719 did they try to hurt the homeless man for the sake of their Interview? Because she did, why are you defending someone who would try to hurt you?
he seems clean and tidy af. he is not trashing the city and got a bunch of crap all over the sidewalk. i honestly got no problem with him being on the sidewalk
@@sunshine9717 he wasn't asking for a toilet to use dumbas but there is plenty of showers and toilers designated to the homeless to use throughout the city. my point is he is the least of our concern rn. go do something about the mentally ill who are roaming the city and trashing it
Honestly people be thinking using the bathroom outside is really an issue, what you think our ancestors where doing u can always just find a discreet spot dig a while and poop there… no one has to know lmao
This is such a sad reporter he is a homeless man. And yet you guys are shading him. If you would have given him an apartment and fill his refrigerator offered him a job he wouldnt say no.
If Pedro has the money to decorate his tent. With state of the are electronics. Then maybe Pedro has the money to get an apartment. Last time I checked. Most folks worked to keep a roof over their heads. Pedro can do the same.
@@vgkk5637 The amount of curroption or problems in USA and this reported gonna expose a homeless man? Where is the real news or humanity? Freaking LA looks like third world country and nobody wonders why? Lol...
@@sunshine9717 Stfu I've seen docu's of USA more then 10 years ago how families both parents work but still are homeless or live in car or in cheap ass motel with no place or room... A blind donkey can see from other side of ocean how your system is wrong in many levels..... You would not hear rich people complain because you protect them you silly guy...
The jealousy people have for this guy is unreal. Its not like he is squatting a house or an apartment. The guy is winning and people out here hating. Smh
@@wayneroberts6642 We're all so jealous. Me? I hate living in this 3 bedroom, two bath stick-built home on an acre and a half in the Northwest. Yeah, I'd much rather live in a flimsy tent on a sidewalk next to the curb and use a bucket for a toilet. Apparently, it all works better with the proper amount of the proper drugs...
How is he winning. He lives in a tent on a corner. It's obvious you have no clue to the meaning of winning. Now, if Pedro had an acre of land he owned. Then you could say he's winning.
There is no way he can sustain 2 weeks of power powering up a laptop, hotspot, and a projector with a mobile battery setup. If he's lucky he can run that for about 3 hours on something that can be moved to the train station to recharge. That's about 60 pounds of latest lithium batteries to run that for a few hours. And he's not tapping into the city lights. He's tapping into the power line @1:12 that leads to the lights. 😂He forgot to screw the access panel back in where he's stealing power to watch movies when there's a need for juice.
what type of unit was he using? how much does it take to run his equipment according to how often he charges his power station? tell us please ? i mean you are a rocket scientist aret you
So how does he pay for food ?? How can the guy work if he has all that expensive stuff in his tent it wouldn’t last an hour. I’m assuming he doesn’t work. This is just ridiculous at this point
It is absolutely illegal as city ordinances prohibit non permitted domiciles amongst all the other permit issues; obstructing sidewalks, certainly the defication on streets and sidewalks. He is absolutely stealing power as the cover was removed. Codes and ordinances are being selectively enforced.
I like how everyone excuses this. I've had to struggle my ass off my whole life and scramble at times to stay housed and as a single parent of 2 w no child support have busted my ass to keep our apartment... But these people can just f"n chill in a tent with convenient access to an outlet and make the neighborhood look like shit. 2 years. If you work, you can save a lot of money in two years. California loves this bs No ill will to the guy, but come on.
I noticed the little access plate on light pole base was flopped over and open. Would have been nice to ask him if he is at least searching for work with his laptop and other devices. But i digress another story to which there is no end
I noticed the pole too.. either he, or someone before him is ABSOLUTELY stealing power from the pole. With his electronics background.. I’m willing to wager he uses that to charge his power source. With that said.. it’s going to be awful difficult for this guy to get a job even if he is searching. He’s solo… how is he going to leave his camp to go for an interview or actually work? He’d have to find a new spot. Sadly, a lot of the homeless housing centers are just like he said, extremely strict and have very rough in/out privileges. There needs to be more places that are ready to treat struggling adults… as adults.
Scandalous of her to try to make it even harder by reporting his source of electricity.smh.He was nice enough to be real with her and like a snake in the grass, she called Metro? Just pure evil
Good for him- but not on a city street. Go somewhere else man. Happy for you to be able to live off grid and affordably but not in front of businesses. What of you had a home and someone set up tents in your yard or if someone put a business in front of your home? They have to have areas for homeless. If homeless people can live like this in an area away from businesses and public areas, power to them- sounds tempting lol. Again- not in private property or public areas!!!!!!!!! Also, my ass hes not tapping into that power- it looked spliced lol
If someone went over and took all that shit from him, is he gonna die or any of those things that we are being shown by this man a necessity for someone to live?
The guy who a originally who pointed this out has been on the news and has his own RU-vid channel. He was the one who said that Pedro was stealing power.
Wow, ingenious but TWO years??? He knows how to do power legally and had funds saved up. I agree, no rehab or prison procedures. We're doing that here at the experimental Pallet site in Chico, Ca. NO BUENO.
The outlandish rules that those shelters have are just crazy. And that’s exactly why no one wants to stay in none of them facilities And usually the people who run them are pretty damn nasty with their mouth😅 You gotta be in at a certain time you can’t take a razor you can’t have a lighter you can’t take a bag they want to check all your stuff and search your body or whatever the rule is it’s too much they pry too much into their personal life, and that to me is unacceptable I wouldn’t stay there either.😅
