Or maybe tell them to get a job and pay taxes. Most are druggies, freeloader bums. They made some bad life choices but others have to pay for it. Kick them out.
@@bobby-ob9rg there are better use of tax money. Better yet let me keep it by taxing me less. I can put it to better use. If you feel like you want to give more, you can. No one is stopping you. Most states have a box you can check if you want to pay a higher tax rate. Because they bad pool life choices why should others have to pay for it?
A treehouse is something I always wanted as a child. I think that it is absolutely heart breaking that they started intervening and cutting the trees down. If you didn't have anywhere to go how would you feel.
If I didnt have anywhere to go that would be an incentive to get off crack and get a job. What makes people think they have a right to squat on someone elses land or property? Why didnt your parents teach you to work instead of mooch off society?
No mercy for the homeless, who needs another story. Leave them alone, as long as they are causing no harm. When these stories appear, they should be provided with subsidized small apartments. Otherwise leave them alone. That's my opinion.
I see nothing wrong. They are practicing off-grid ecological living to minimize their carbon footprints. As always the city's zoning and planning is way behind the curve.
Try to live with a homeless camp next door, guarantee you will lose sympathy for them as they pilfer from you, shit everywhere and treat you with the contempt you deserve.
Like paying for them to leave their whole lives because they refuse to conform to society and get a job and live like we do. So your solution is we just keep paying for them we now have hundreds of thousands of grown children that we need to take care of so that they’re not in our children’s park that’s your solution🙄
I knew some guy who would sleep in some ones private business parking lot, in exchange he would keep the place secure at night. He had a tent and everything, a real backpacker, he would even have a small fire going in a trash can during the winter months. It was in an industrial area, this was back in 2014. Then again, the guy may not have had a home but he worked like 12 hr-14hr shifts in the neighborhood, really held his own and was a part of the community. I think that's what's missing in this picture.
This is so darn sad. That we all have to resort back to the basics, living in tree houses... All because the government and landlords is so damn greedy and charge too much money to rent a house, aprt, trailer, condo, etc .I just can't believe this . Smh smh smh. :-(
Actually it's pretty comfortable. Having space in the trees with all your blankets and sleeping bags and in my case.my.pups it's pretty relaxing until the government and city officials get involved
Sometimes Tree houses are better alternatives to regular Houses, huts, tents, mansions, rvs, campers, motorhomes, mobile homes, trailers, caravans, caverns, taverns, lodges, cabins, hotels, motels, and sheds
“Marc doesn’t leave there...” but he’s “researching his rights in what to do” as crews approach the settlement. Someone is lying and I’m pretty sure it’s Kiet Do.
Very cool. Let them be. We have a housing crisis. We have a homeless crisis. Don’t criminalize poverty, no one wants to live like that, they are a victim of our broken systems. Always wanted to live in a tree house when I was a kid. God bless whoever built this
This is sad they're not hurting anyone they just want a safe place to sleep now they're cutting the trees to stop them from sleeping there it is sad because only so many people can fit in shelters. Where will they go now?
We are all one, i don't get how people just don't come together and help each other out..those days are long gone, easier to kick a man when he's down than helping him back up
Why not just go out further into the woods, instead of a row of trees in the middle of everything, you could build a Hobbit home into the Side of a Hill and no one would see it if done right.... I never get City Homeless poeple, its like go to the Woods, its Free, and even has Food!
@Majestic Minded Yeah, but you could make maple syrup, and many products depending on the Time of Year, if you are good at the woods, it can produce a better income than McDonalds
It’s time for city governments to build tiny homes for the homeless I’m sure that there is plenty of unused land to build on. Come on government do something for the people for a change and not for your own pocket.
Good for them hope they are all safe and work through their problems god my be with you we know our system is against all of us. Wish I could help you all I would and those able all the elites won’t throw a dime sad days
I tried to put a pallet skid up in a tree when i was homless and then put a mattress up there so i could get some sleep in peace. But i couldnt get it up in the tree. my idea was a homeless tree house off king george highway in surrey.
I wish I had the money to help with this crisis.. opening lots that have no use by the county, build structures for the homeless, and task them to maintain the premises.. and pay them a small wage.. thoughts swimming through my head.. god bless the meek and those that are incapable..
If I start a crowdfunding campaign to build small homes on land near LA (somewhere like Santa Clarita). I’m talking thousands of small Homes for the homeless that wouldn’t cost more than maybe $1k each, would people support it? I’d even make it “a place of worship” to avoid property tax so really all there would be is maintenance and food from donations which can be tax write offs. I just wonder if the homeless would want something like this
Just people trying to live with out getting hurt by bad people when sleeping Come on then give then the tiny house with locks to keep others out .🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
I've seen the sights, I've had delights On every foreign shore But when my mates all ask me The place that I adore I tell them right away Give me a home among the gumtrees With lots of plum trees A sheep or two, a k-kangaroo A clothesline out the back Verandah out the front And an old rocking chair
God bless the police for getting the civilians down those trees, such a dangerous job. And let's not forget the brave government employees for cutting down the trees. Heros.
If the leaders would do their job, and figure out a clean, safe place! Once political people get into office they forget about the people in need! The streets in California is disgusting! Nancy doesn’t care any! Sick politicians!
it is a shame that we live in a country where it is illegal to be poor. These people have nothing so we are taking what little they have put together. It is every humans God given right to live. Having a good job and a nice house does not make anyone a better human and in so very many cases, it makes them just the opposite. Shame on the people in this country.
I feel bad for alot of the homeless people in the world... I believe that many of them are truly down on their luck and need help, and would accept it. But then there is the other half of the homeless people who bring hard luck onto their selves and refuse help... In 2004 I worked for the city utilites in my town. I was on the street department and we cut grass, weedeated, patched pot holes with asphalt, etc.... Our local homeless shelter had came up with some new rules and everyone who stayed there had to do some type of community services in order for them to continue staying there. They also got paid on the days that they helped. There were two men that got picked to go with us and cut grass.... They started their day off complaining about the summer heat while weedeating the hillsides on the highways. About midday it started raining. (30 minute summer down poor). My crew and I continued to cut grass in the rain. The two homeless men refused and set in the truck and watched us. Our foreman pulled in and told them that they had to get out of the truck and help us. They both got mad and started cutting grass while cussing under their breath... The next day we pulled into the shelter to pick them up for work and they never came out.. The director at the homeless shelter came out and said that they pack their bags that evening and left. They said that they wasnt working for their stay..
