Stop using this garbage altogether! Do you know what's in that fabric softener? You're inhaling that when you spray it all over! Get yourself some good quality essential oils and use a diffuser to dispense the natural oils into the air for a fresh scent. Or you can put a several drops of the essential oils into a spray bottle mixed with alcohol and some water. The alcohol evaporates as soon as it's sprayed and the oils give off a nice scent.
BeatlesFanSonia I simply add a teaspoon of vinegar, add rosemary sometimes from(gnc) store add lemon with warm water. Sometimes I steep it and sometimes I don’t. Pour it up then spray. I also put in my diffuser. Vinegar and lemon helps balance orders(especially after cooking) or cleaning.
So what's a good substitute for the fabric softner? I wanted to get away from Bath and Bodywork's etc room freshners as they are pet toxic. Don't want to make this one if it's also pet toxic.
All the comments about the baking soda, lol,,, Baking soda is soluble in water at .274 oz. of baking soda to 3.5 oz. of water at 64 degrees Fahrenheit. All of these comments about white residue were obviously fill the bottle, shake and spray,,,, mix the baking soda with hot water first add 1 or 2 tablespoons of fabric softener, to a quart bottle and only 1 tsp baking soda, it doesn't take much. I do this all the time and no problems, no residue,.
Hmmmm wouldn't this leave powdery patches depending on what you spray it on. Or leave a film on the floor if for instance you spray in the kitchen?? ...as what goes up must come down
walt baking soda is used in many cleaning methods in this case I'm sure it's used for the fact that baking soda is a type of deodorizer it absorbs odor that's why some people put it inside their shoes and put it in the freezer or refrigerator to absorb food odors...
MissMcD I do this all the time and it doesn't leave a mess but I don't use it in rooms with hard floors like bathroom or kitchen and I also use a much bigger bottle like an old febreze bottle or something and hot water instead of lukewarm😊
Fabric softeners are toxic. When I use to use for my clothes it would make me nauseous. When I buy my oranges and lemons. I save the peelings. Squeeze a little so the fragrance oils comes out of the peelings. Let them soak in a warm pitcher of water. Stir and pour the water and a few of the peels in a spray bottle and you have some clean nontoxic air freshener. Also for a more fragrant smell buy some citrus oils and add a few drops.✌💛🍊🍋
Joan For Christ I use a big spray bottle like an old febreze bottle instead of the little one that they showed and hot water instead of just lukewarm it will dissolve it a lot better
I make this all the time for my car. But without the baking soda. I spray it in my carpet and I'm any clothes I might have laying around in the back seat
I use baking soda with vinegar to clean, I like the smell, but after clean with baking soda, I have to wipe with a damp cloth to take off the baking soda powder, so, I think tuck it into the air is not a good idea...
Hmm it was good on clothes drapes etc but as a room freshner , the droplets made d flooring slippery and that was a bit dangerous especially the bathroom...
Do not spray this mixture around your home , it leave white residue every where ,fabric softener has to be rinsed out of clothing ,that why it's a rinsing agent for clothing, and spray baking soda is a total dried powered mess on things . Bad idea 🤔
Never use baking soda in sprayer bottle, it'll clog your sprayer and will leave white spot every where you sprayed. And most importantly, this video is 80% blabbering and 20% talk on point, I hate these kind of videos
There's no way I'm going to try this! Do you know what's in that fabric softener?! 😮 No way! And I can imagine that'll get everywhere. Oh, and also clog the nozzle on the spray bottle. Nope, won't even try this. Instead, get some essential oils and use a diffuser. That'll take care of bag odors and freshen the air with natural oils. Doesn't take a genius to figure that out. Wow!
