2). The herb I am using is Nasturtium Leaf also known as Tropaeolum (NOT watercress)
3). I now use honey instead of glycerin for low alcohol or alcohol free extracts, especially medicinal ones

I had a dog who was hit by a combine when he ran away. It tore the inside of his leg to the bone and was infected when we found him. The vet had us put raw honey (any kind just raw), sugar, and a touch of water in a spray bottle. We washed his leg 3 times a day with Luke warm water and sprayed that on it. It started to be straight pink in less than 3 days. Honey is amazing

I have a much loved dog here in Australia who was struck by snake number 7 on our deadly list. We have 17 of the top 20 deadlies globally :(, we do have to be cautious on our rural property. Serum saved her but the wound was a shocker because that particular snake's toxin breaks down muscles. We used a specialist vet service and what did they suggest to use even with access to the best of pharmacy drugs, Yep, honey. Cleared it up and we didnt need surgery on the wound. Use it all the time, luckily I am a backyard bee keeper so honey, propolis and wax are all home produced.

Have you investigated Carnivore? There are sooo many stories from people who have healed on this way of eating. Look up Dr. Shawn Baker and Dr. Ken Berry. Start with these two men and God willing, you will not look back. There are sooo many ailments that Carnivore have healed. I have experienced it and continue to heal. Also...look up Dr. Elizabeth Bright....lots of valuable info especially for women. All the best.
@ajb.822

I hope you heal ! Just want to suggest finding a "functional medicine" MD or practitioner, to help you get to the bottom of things. They usually have u do an elimination diet, and I would advise being sure they do a very thorough one ( mine, for ex., didn't exclude as many things as my husband's, who had a different Dr.. His had him excluding rice too, every single grain, seed and nut, for the 3 to 5 weeks, and I think were better at treating likely leaky gut). Mine suspected I had mycotoxin issues and an issue in my sinuses, and I was tested and did. Am still being treated for those right now. Meanwhile, my husband is doing a lot better, his main issues were extreme brain fog and fluctuating psoriasis. His blood test showed markers for inflammation and his was super high. Even tho I'd often had him on good tumeric products and fish oils, & we eat a mostly home-grown and otherwise fairly all-natural and OG diet, btw, tho don't do everything the Weston A. Price foundation recommends (such as always pre-soaking nuts etc.) which is my goal. There gut healing program incl. things we'd done, but a few more I'd never heard of, plus, meanwhile, he was avoiding ALL potential problem foods. Allowing for healing b4 reintroducing them 1 by 1. I already knew I was intolerant of gluten and most dairy, and after the elimination diet, found out ANY dairy bothers me, even butter. I don't have access to it now, but I didn't do ok on even OG, raw, 100% grain-free, forage/pasture fed dairy. For some people, properly raised/fed/grown/prepared foods ( which used to be normal, around the world) makes all the difference, so, something to keep in mind. I recommend finding and trying these foods of that quality 1st, when re-introducing after an elimination diet, to better know what it is your body isn't ok with.

@@ajb.822 Have you ever fermented probiotics before ? I’m not speaking of dairy (Kefir, yogurt…) but fermenting cabbage and adding garlic, fennel seeds, carrots…… it’s been tested that a natural batch can contain up into trillions of probiotics which lasts several months. The number one natural remedy I’ve always held in the highest is probiotics ……

When my older daughter was 3 she slipped off her scooter and really scraped her back on the curb. We couldn't find the Polysproin to put on the scrapes, then I prayed and was reminded about honey being good for cuts and scrapes. We gently patted her back with a warm, wet wash cloth. Then we gently applied honey to the scrapes and the pain and swelling was completely down within 20 minutes. Her back was tender for a few days, but the honey dealt with the worst of it.

About a decade ago, I had tried to do many of the things you talk about throughout your videos, but for some reason I stopped, and I'm now getting to the point where I really miss all of that for the health benefits (for my family and the environment) and the cost-effectiveness. Your channel has really been a blessing to find.

I'm a 69 year old woman who has used nature and foraged for food and medicine in the woods all my life, taught by parents and grandparents. I made a tincture of Usnea, one of nettles, and one of mullein, then took dropper bottles, made a mix of the three and individual dropper bottles also so I can change ingredients as needed. I also made a tincture of wild lettuce and prickly lettuce for arthritis pain. I have made elderberry tincture for the last four years, so I have several containers of that. The elderberries are big and plump here. I always use 100% vodka for my tinctures. I make elixers of my remedies according to need with fruit honey I made, seltzer water and gin or brandy. Blessed Be!

Mosby publishes an Herb-prescription drug book. It lists the prescription med along with the herbs that interact with them. You can also lookup the herb in the index for a reference page for the PM they interact with. When people first started really getting into herbs in the late 90s this was so valuable of a reference to this nurse.

Love your work Heidi 🙏 Mānuka is a kind of tea tree (Leptospermum) native to N.Z, and the part of Australia (South East) where I live :) Tea Tree is a natural antibiotic, a bit like eucalyptus. The honey is made from bees that only visit that type of tree, that is why it is expensive, and it is pretty rare in that way. Here is some cut and paste on the botanical name for your reference - I get the vibe that you like research and botanical names as much as I do! 😉♥️ *The word mānuka is from the Māori language in which it represents the bush or tree (Leptospermum scoparium). Mānuka honey is produced by European honey bees (Apis mellifera) foraging on the mānuka or tea tree (Leptospermum scoparium) which grows uncultivated throughout New Zealand and southeastern Australia.* Namaskar 🙏

Manuka honey worked on my husband's nonhealing wound just as well as the prescription antibiotic cream. Usually I've found natural remedies may take a tad longer to work. However, the Manuka honey worked just as quickly! Oh, and several Drs misdiagnosed him. It wasn't a nonhealing wound. It was a wound that wouldn't heal because sutures didn't dissolve from a surgery years before. They finally worked their way to the surface and we removed them. Wound healed and didn't return as it did before after rounds of medication. He kept putting the honey on it for a while just to be sure it wouldn't come back lol

Gonna plant in a different place and I will definitely be making this! TFS! Love, hugs and blessings ~The Kid! ❤️

You might also try trimming the hair around the area. The saliva from chewing and licking causes bacteria in the hair. Get it as short as you can. Preferably shave around the area with clippers. It sounds like hotspots. If the dog is not chewing it it sounds like honey is the trick.

Pine needle tea does the trick as well. Douse for a week and rash gone. I keep it in fridge so no mold.

I've been growing nasturtium for years for chefs in the area. I knew all the beneficial aspects of the plant. But I can't believe I haven't thought to make a extract that will last for practically ever as a all natural antibiotic. Brilliant. I love herb-lore.

@@kathysturm4251 it is the garden flower that grows like a vine! the plant is edible too! You can find the seeds at any place that sells flower seeds. They're not anything exotic or special. Just regular old garden nasturtiums.

I stopped using medical doctors and pharmaceuticals when I was misdiagnosed by three different physicians and put on medications for aliments I didn't have. I started searching for answers on my own and came to natural medicine and diet and I've never looked back. I also found that pharmaceuticals are simply copies of medicinal plants that have what "scientists" believe are the active ingredients but don't have the synergistic components made in nature, which causes the majority of side effects and harm. I no longer trust the medical establishment. It's all about the money, no matter how many they kill or maim.
@RainCountryHomestead
@RainCountryHomestead 2 года назад
Yep, they take the active ingredient (that is meant to be consumed as part of a whole, NOT isolated) then they synthesize it. So not only are they making something that is not as affective or safe, it is fake and causes other health problems. However, they can make FAR more money off of something they can patent.

I broke six vertebrae and three ribs. They put an implant in place of t-8 and t-9. The medical community’s “bureaucracy” (it starts with a B...💩” was more painful than the injury itself. Neurosurgeon says bed rest, all the rest of my doctors scheduled as many chargeable mandatory visits as possible. The surgeon had a problem with my insurance so he wouldn’t handle my aftercare during the global period. No other neurologists would see me due to the global period liability. Primary doctors wouldn’t help with my pain during the global period. Pain Management said they couldn’t help me until I was healed bc they deal with chronic pain. I ended up making potent thc/cbd coconut oil and it saved my life literally. The pain was so great and every door shut in my face due to the medical industry’s “policies” that I wished I could move enough to get something to end my life with. I’m healed mostly now and they wanna give me opiates now. Nah I’m good. If the medical community could feel the pain they cause with their policies they’d all end their lives. I have deep seeded animosity towards anyone wearing scrubs or a lab coat. Part of me wants to share the pain with the neurosurgeon who caused the pain due to billing issues. He saw dollars, not another human in utter agony.

I agree with you 💯, I have medical issues that the doctors can not find an answer to. I have done test, after test and come to nothing every time. It's not only frustrating but I know in my heart what is wrong and no one listens to me. It is our food supply. It is our medicine. We are being poisoned. These things are not meant for the human body to consume. Yet, they keep forking pills down my mouth, and have me on things that I don't know how to get off of without their help. Like suboxone and antidepressants. When I ask to get off these things, they are afraid that my pain will lead me to drug use. I am afraid that these medications are causing my pain. I want off these drugs. I don't know how.

You can try using just oregano and echinacea, or even just oregano. There are many other antibiotic herbs as well you can try. I should make a list of them too but usually you will find that herbs that are antiviral are also antibiotic

I know back years ago when I ran across some of the studies they were doing in labs with the manuka honey that they were amazed at what all it held up against. They said it was killing off anything that got in it's way , very powerful stuff. I know I wished I had some of it a couple of weeks ago. Because I just came off of this co','id trip, let me tell you it was rough but I got through it. God bless everyone.
