Stronger trolling motor with more thrust. However, this is only good for pond fishing, no way could you take it out on a lake that is choppy. Just too small.
@@supergokue1 There is a video I recommend. It is called the Tesla Catamaran by the Tech ingredients channel. He does an excellent job of explaining hydro-dynamics.
My grandson had tried to make one (same concept) he was only 15 yrs old, but it didn't work like yours!lol! Anyway, I shared it with him & he'll be 27yrs in 2 days! It will bring back memories! Good job!!!
Incredibly creative approach to ordinary things!!!! Everyone in these pipes can see the sewerage, you saw the possibility of the supporting structure. In polyurethane foam (or whatever it is) everyone can see the insulating material, you have noticed the material for the floats. The same with containers whose usual use is polarly distant from yours. In this way, the same aproach to things, the boys from Apollo 13 were saved in practically no exit situation. I am impressed, very inspiring movie!!!!! Bravo.
I think an improvement would be a flat awning to replace the umbrella and move the solar panel onto the awning. I can't imagine you would be getting very much value from the solar panel with all the shading above it.
All the important things in life, water, fishing, solar power, homemade confidence! The solar panel will work better in the sun (maybe overhead) but that’s an upgrade for another day. Congratulations!
It would be nice to have a list of the items you needed for the project and cut list but over all very good video something new out there no one has done i will subscribe
Whoever gave a thumbs down are just jealous haters cause he actually created something so rad!! I wanna see more builds.. totally got these min of life well worth my time..plus I now have become inspired to create
@@supergokue1 pretty good for a lake or pond . in south florida guys used kayaks to deep sea fish with and would catch sailfish . they let the fish pull them around and tire itself out ,then reeled it in .
I actually love Water World (I don't care if anyone disagrees) but I can just imagine a humungus white trimaran and Jeanne Tripplehorn in that outfit chillin with a glass of champagne, life doesn't get much better than that, make that quadruplehorn if you know what I mean lads 👍
From one geration to the generetion materials were was always there. Nothing new (material) that came from other planets but was the matter of discovery. Great work bro!!! 🙌🙌🙏
Definitely going to adopt some of your designs, but instead of coolers down the center, I’m going to use a cheap kayak. The added pontoons will make it un-flipable! Liked and subbed, thanks for the cool content!
Maybe one day I will be able to do something like that, for now it's just a dream. I think most of my neighbors believe that I am crazy :) Thanks for the comments!
Holy engenerring very cool. And gave me a idea for pontoons for my kayak. Right now im using boat bumpers but your way i can make some sleek longer floats.
Looks nice . I hope that u sealed the coolers back after drilling holes and I'm not a fan of using hot glue as any heat will reheat it and it will be useless.
Just subscribed. You and me were independently thinking unique ideas about pallets, coolers and 45 gallon containers. Inspiring to see how well they are working.
Good job! Greetings from Bulgaria! I really like those last modifications. You could be think about some small keel. And also you can made something like a lite spoilers for the pontоones/easy from empty 20l. buckets and hotairpistol/ This will improve the speed and control of the boat.Again :i like what you do. Go ahead and have fun.
This is really ingenious! I would have used trex on the running boards and backed up all the frame attachments to the coolers with silicone. I might try to make one of these. +1 sub & like.
Ever thought about selling plans for these? I would love to build one for a small lake we fish or if you feel generous you could just email them to me for free 🤣🤣🤣
Awesome of course, genius... Why has NO one mentioned how it looks like a Star Trek Next Generation Shuttle Craft? You can go as simple or as 'Borg'-ed out as you wish. Jimmy 'James Doohan would have saluted you and miracle workers everywhere, thank you for sharing your gifts and talents.
@@supergokue1 Live long and ask GOD why would HE require a Starship, when we only know a hot tubs size of knowledge that is Our Planet, our true Starship.
Or sheets of coroplast as multiwasher I would use coroplast iinstead of particle board too like other builds And if you tale ends and add a sealant over tape or sealant over whole thing the coroplast itself would be bouyant.....buy white to match and it will look nicer too (on other build not this one)
Very ingenuous! Congratulations for all your projects. Do you thing that is possible to share us a project with dimensions for this cool water vehicle? Thank you in advance.
Thank you for your interest, I am currently working on the book with all of the details of this boat. I can let you know when it is up on Amazon if you like? Thank you for the question.
Not a bad idea. I do have two suggestions. Extend the pontoons in front by at least 1 ft. (When you leaned forward the boat dipped downward at the front). When you made the frame of 1-inch PVC under the coolers you could have just sanded the center of the Tee out so the PVC pipe would slide down to the middle then just glued them in place. This would eliminate a set of 4 joints.
Nice work! Very interesting.. I would maybe consider relocating the batteries to the back cooler if possible. It may help to pull the nose of the craft out of the water a little and hopefully help it with forward motion. Just a thought.
This is got to be the coolest damn boat I`ve ever seen or seen built !! I`m very interested in watching in on your next build . Further more I`m defintely going to build me one these .
BRILLIANT DESIGN, I would make it two coollers wide, move the seat to the rear and make the pontoons slightly longer for a little more forward support. This is an awesome little boat tho....
Love this idea. I'd need a more modular design though. I have a small car. It would be nice if it could all be taken apart and packed in then assembled on sight... or I'll just make sure my next car is bigger and has a roof rack. The umbrella is a great idea. You'd die out on a lake for a day with the sun beating down on you and no shade, or come home with massive sunburn at the very least.
Thank you for the compliment. If you liked this boat, you might also like the upgrade video I did last week. Thank you for the comment ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-DyzHhTxrCFM.html
Great design, the only problem I see is long-term use on the water with a low seat makes the back and legs hurt. if the seat was up higher it would be perfect! Great JOb!
You are right about the cup holder. I did fix that issue in the upgrade video coming out in a few weeks. Thank you for the comment, I really appreciate it :)
Did you use stainless steel bolts, washers and self locking nut? That way you don't have to worry about them rusting and staining the coolers or killing the fish or bait. Great idea. Love it.
Really cool but two things stand out. 1: The umbrella is covering the solar panel. 2: I’m not sure the coolers or the pvc will last long in the sun, I would suggest coating or covering.
Wow! I do like your creative boat so much! Great for fishing at once! Can you come do a business with me in Thailand? Thai peoples are very crazy about fishing! Honestly, I pray to God to make the way for me to meet this creative guy!
Chiang Mai city where I live, and it’s on the north of Thailand. Have you ever been to our Thailand, especially in Chiang Mai city? It’s a tourist destination!
@@arunsirikiatkit6590 We have not been there yet, but my wife and I own property in the Philippines. The next time we are there, we hope to be able to visit Thailand. I have seen many pictures of Chiang Mai, and it looks beautiful.
Probably would have been cheaper just to buy a boat lol but it is a cool looking project if I had three coolers laying around and 6-in drain pipe with all the fixings LOL it's a lot of material you're using if you had to buy it today you might as well just buy a boat used or one of those little one-man pontoon boats for 400 or 500 bucks
Love your idea, curious what you put out on supplies sort of the motor, batteries & solar re-charger. IDK if you're getting water in where your nuts and bolts go through your PVC pipes but a suggestion for you a close that off that probably is better than trying to silicon caulk it... Spray bottle of foam insulation. Expands in the pipe to fill the space, keeps out the water and lends itself as flotation as well or better than the air space.
How about a tent on deck with pontons underneath and below waterline storage as a cooler and a place to fish or hold your fishing rod and a anker of course.
It would be an expensive build for something that'd quickly deteriorate here in Florida. Still, it is an inventive idea with valid application in colder weather climates.
Great minds think alike, I actually did add wheels to the upgraded version. Here is the link if you like to check it out. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-DyzHhTxrCFM.html Thanks for the comment :)
Propellers in the pontoon is a great idea, I'll have to see if I can make something like that happen. Thank you again for the compliment, and the ideas :)
Cool initiative with practical application for fun fishing but I imagine your mates will want one so you might be embarking on a niche enterprise. However, looks like you are going to have a ton of fun Cheers from PTT
I followed your design but I'm a bigger guy so I modified the bracing to the coolers. I went with brackets by made out of aluminum plates I had laying around. I know the washers wasn't held my fat up
I think if like a shelter curtain would be nice, then 2 seats, at the stepping point maybe fishtank below it so open and put fish, then like direction propeller, and just dc motor with fan propeller. Or fish at the sides?
