In this episode I will show you the custom axle nut socket that I made. I needed a three and a half inch socket to remove the axle nuts on my dump truck. I couldn't find it locally and I found it online but it would take about a week to deliver so I decided to make my own. All the dimensions I provided in this video are for the relationship between the tool and the nut head. I didn't talk about the thread size to minimize confusion. I have built many custom sockets in the past in many shapes and sizes. This is a good tutorial if you are planning to build a similar thing.
