Today's Recipe is Homemade Dark Chocolate Recipe | How to make Dark Chocolate | Homemade Sugar free Dark Chocolate
Homemade Sugar free Dark Chocolate is very easy to make and it requires only 4 ingredients. Dark Chocolate is nothing more than cocoa, cocoa butter, sweetener and flavorings like salt and vanilla, which enhance the rich flavor of the Dark chocolate. It is a healthy homemade Diabetic friendly Dark Chocolate. This Dark Chocolate is rich in cocoa and less in sweetness, if you prefer more sweet add more liquid stevia/sugar free drops as per your taste.
~: Ingredients for preparing Sugar free Dark Chocolate :~
Cocoa butter - 1/4th cup
Cocoa powder - 1/2 Cup
Liquid stevia/Sugar free drops - 20 drops (if you prefer more sweetness add more sweet drops up-to 1/2 tsp)
Vanilla extract - 1/8 tsp
Salt - a pinch (optional)
(Alternate for Cocoa butter - coconut oil, vegetable shortening, vanaspathi ghee)

Thanks for sharing this! Chocolate sometimes gets a bad rap because chocolate products can include a lot of added sugar. Sometimes, there’s even up to 50g of added sugar in one chocolate bar! For context, the World Health Organization recommends staying under 25 g (or 6 teaspoons) of added sugar per day!

Thank you ever so much! After two years of being low carb, I now have digestive issues from Erythritol and Allulose And I bought the cocoa butter before these problems happened. It’s just been sitting there. So excited to get to use it. Will these melt if I make chocolate chips and leave them at room temperature?

Does this melt immediately after you put it out of the ref? Ive noticed whenever i use coconut oil it melts easily even just less than a minute or just a few minutes 😅 also can i substitute powdered erythritol?

Use cocoa butter. It's edible and it's made from the cocoa plant which is what makes chocolate. It's pretty firm

If you liked this video, you may also want to know that there are a number of steps to making chocolate! First, cocoa beans are picked from the tree. At this stage, the beans are white and gooey. The beans are fermented for 2 weeks and left to dry. Once dry, the beans have turned brown! The dried beans are roasted to create more flavor, and finally, made into chocolate products!

However, dark chocolate or raw cocoa nibs have 0-maybe 6 g of added sugar, if you’re buying 80-95% cocoa. Always check the ingredient label to see how much added sugar is present, and consider buying dark chocolate or raw cocoa nibs!

It melts. You can see by the thumb imprint she makes. It needs to be tempered if you want keep it in your bag.

Mam same thing i did should i hv to wait for some time after liquifying butter bcoz today i made but after switching off immediately added cocoa powder n it thickened soon n taste like burnt out....should i suppose to wait or can i used double boiling method....n can u tell amount of honey to use alternative to stevia

I got all excited and bought the molds. Having problems. The fat separates and rises to the top in the refrigerator. Am I doing something wrong? I wish you would answer questions. Seems like you don’t. Hoping you will answer mine.

Please follow the correct measurements, if cocoa powder quantity is less cocoa butter may get seperated after refrigerating and we have mix well before pouring into moulds (you can also blend in mixer jar for 1-2 mins on low speed for combining well)😊

@@WowDelicious hi, I tried it again. I must have measured improperly, because I didn’t have the separation problem this time! It’s possible but I reverse the two measurements. I am finding that sugar-free dark chocolate is quite chalky, no matter which recipe I use. I’m guessing that sugar normally gives some texture benefit in regular chocolate. I might experiment with a little bit of sugar and see what happens. Of course, I will count the carbs Thank you very much for your help and recipe

I tried it.. the after taste of chocolate was too strong... I think using stevia (I used powder) enhanced that taste further.... It wasn't pleasant... But yah any day bttr than the commercial chocolates we buy frm the store which are filled with suger

@@meghanavanivageshwari Honey when heated turns toxic. Might as well have sugar laced with chemicals at that point. The best way to have stevia is by making your own stevia using dried stevia leaves and by either using an alcohol extraction method or just by keeping it submerged in warm water for 24 hours and simmering it down until it gets concentrated and filtered.

Unsweetened dark chocolate isn't for consumption (unless that's how you prefer it) It's for usage in other recipes. The dark chocolate we buy in stores is at least 30% sweetened, below that they are usually just used in recipes as pure dark chocolate is very very strong.
