Homemade Father's Day MRE from the Kids 

Glad you take interest in your dads hobby and channel says a lot.

As a Father of 3, this is what makes you feel like the best F'n dad on earth. It's the simple things in life.

The girls did a great job for their DBA- Father's Day MRE. You should do a DBA -MCW (Meal Cold Weather). The MCW has a Freeze Dried Main with other typical MRE items. Great video today.

Thank you for introducing me to the trucker's lunch box. I bought one and I absolutely love it. No more waiting in line for a microwave at work. And since it has a locking lid my boss is fine with heating it at my desk.

I love this! The girls did an outstanding job creating a great meal for their dad. As much as I don’t like going to Walmart, they have a pallet sized stand in the middle of the aisle in the food section that has nothing but Yellowbird sauces, Cholula, even barbecue sauces all for a dollar each. They are great for camping and I have had that sauce, it’s amazing. This is a great heartwarming video.

I've had a few brands with same quality taste. I stock up when I can get it at a good price point. It varies a lot.

Glad you tried the shortbread and coffee before eating your entree. Spicy food just does not pair well with coffee to me; except Vietnamese iced coffee. I used to walk out of Ollie’s with a cart load of those shortbread cookies. Kept some at my desk at work. Had them with morning coffee, dessert in my lunch bag, and just whenever I wanted a sweet, but not too sweet, snack.

I love to stick a roast in the crock pot and cook it until I falls apart! Then, depending on my mood or the people eating it I serve it over rice, or with potatoes. Think I'll stick one in the crock pot today. It's super cool that your girls made you a Daddys Day MRE! I especially loved the Igloo cooler and the hot sauce. We LOVE hot sauce

Nicely done to all. And yes a shelter in place 24 hour MRE for four is a good thought. Think 3 or 5 gallon bucket instead of Mylar bag. Maybe have the entire family pick items of their flavor profile.

throw about 4 or 5 arby's sauce to the main. one thing i like about the shortbreads is your sol foods (safety of life) lifeboat rations are a shortbread version. my truck bag has a week of food in it made up of this item. they are usually good for 5 years. opened one up a few years ago, they are a shortbread. bit on the plain side. not as buttery tasting as regular shortbreads. try dunking the shortbread in nutello. a few decades ago i did a dish of beef rice-roni with canned green beans(french sliced) with a lb of cooked hamburger. move up to this dish, take out the red beans, add the green beans for a 1 pot dish.

I think the girls did a damn fine job! I would eat everything the got! That cooler is fricken awesome! Fun video, and your daughters are great!

Roast beef from my youth was cooked to the point that it pulls apart. Today, I really don't care for meats unless they are cooked to that point (shredded beef, pulled pork... etc.). Not sure why my family did it that way, old Okie thing maybe? Great video again, love seeing the family engagement, you guys are awesome. 🍻

I have eaten canned roast beef and gravy, different band names, and it all has been good. I keep several cans in the pantry. It’s good over rice mashed potatoes or noodles. I especially like the brand sold at the Dollar General stores

MANY years ago, I spent my 2 week honeymoon in NOLA. The first 4 days and 3 nights was a cruise on the Mississippi Queen (pre-gambling which made it very nice for us). I was yelling POP ROCKS at my TV when you said pop rocks 😆 Now I have to go nuke a bag of popcorn BRB lol I got it 😂
