I was a just a kid in elementary school when I first heard our teacher talking about Thanksgiving... somewhere in there we learned that the Indians would plant corn 🌽 and bury a fish with it. Has anyone ever heard this story 🤔 ik sure many people have.. I'm 53 now but yea I still very much remember the story!

Mom had a bucket of fish in her garden like this, with a lid, no hose on top. She would dip a little at a time to feed the garden plants,. Dad would bring home fresh supply from his fishing trip at least once a week. We'd eat some and the scraps and little ones went in the bucket or got buried. Free superior plant food!

Fast forward to this spring. Dear Lord, the soil is incredible now ! I cannot express the difference this has made. Thank you, my man ! We've been telling everyone about this. I recall my mother buried vegetable wastes, fish guts, heads, bones, and discarded part of fishes, in the soil around her banana trees, and jackfruit trees and any trees in the property. Her banana were the biggest and sweetest banana ever found. Her jackfruit trees produced fruits like crazy including fruits oozing out from under the ground by the root area.

I love this idea ! and I especially love the way you explained how the microbes break up the ingredients and make it bioavailable to the plants. This got me exited to try this. The way I look at it, there are 2 categories of people in this world….1) the people that go through life using things up and not really knowing or caring where their food comes from and how it was grown… 2) the second category of people are the plant and soil (earth nurturing) ones who want to grow plants, create soul life and love and give back to our amazing planet earth. These are the people like you…who also want to pass on this amazing knowledge of how to improve the soul life of our planet 🌎…the end results benefit everyone. ❤️❤️❤️

Plants are just like people! Probably more basic to biochemistry level. People eat meat, vege, fruits, carbohydrates, drinks etc etc. use the teeth to grind the food, get into the stomach, again grinding done plus the acid & enzymes added. The breakdown process of food from the mouth, stomach, intestines into absorbable materials and get absorbed mainly by intestine, really into basic biochemical level into the blood stream & elsewhere for the final availability for body to use in a healthy ways or otherwise such as high cholesterol, fatty liver, atherosclerosis, ……

I caught a lot of little perch and buried them in the middle of my compost pile! I didn’t think I buried it deep enough in the pile so the very next day, less than 24 hours after I put those fish in, I dug to move the fish a little closer to the bottom. I was shocked and totally amazed to find that the fish were already decomposed beyond recognition!!!! That was fast!!!

In the name of Allah, the Gracious, the Merciful. Praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds. The Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Master of the Day of Judgment. Allah, there is no god but He, the Living, the Eternal. To Him belongs everything in the heavens and everything on earth. He is the Sublime, the Magnificent. The heavens above them almost burst apart, while the angels glorify the praises of their Lord, and ask forgiveness for those on earth. Allah is indeed the Forgiver, the Merciful. 11. Originator of the heavens and the earth. He made for you mates from among yourselves, and pairs of animals, by means of which He multiplies you. There is nothing like Him. He is the Hearing, the Seeing. 12. To Him belongs absolute control of the heavens and the earth. He spreads the bounties to whomever He wills, or reduces it. He is aware of all things. 13. He prescribed for you the same religion He enjoined upon Noah, and what We inspired to you, and what We enjoined upon Abraham, and Moses, and Jesus: “You shall uphold the religion, and be not divided therein.” As for the idolaters, what you call them to is outrageous to them. Allah chooses to Himself whom He wills, and He guides to Himself whoever repents. 111. And say, “Praise be to Allah, who has not begotten a son, nor has He a partner in sovereignty, nor has He an ally out of weakness, and glorify Him constantly.” 59. The likeness of Jesus in Allah’s sight is that of Adam: He created him from dust, then said to him, “Be,” and he was. 1. Say, “He is Allah, the One. 2. Allah, the Absolute. 3. He begets not, nor was He begotten. 4. And there is none comparable to Him.” 6. Say, “I am only a human like you; it is inspired in me that your God is One God. So be upright towards Him, and seek forgiveness from Him.” And woe to the idolaters. 7. Those who do not pay the alms; and regarding the Hereafter, they are disbelievers. 8. As for those who believe and do righteous deeds-for them is a reward uninterrupted. 9. Say, “Do you reject the One who created the earth in two days? And you attribute equals to Him? That is the Lord of the Universe.” 10. He placed stabilizers over it; and blessed it; and planned its provisions in four days, equally to the seekers. 11. Then He turned to the sky, and it was smoke, and said to it and to the earth, “Come, willingly or unwillingly.” They said, “We come willingly.” 12. So He completed them as seven universes in two days, and He assigned to each universe its laws. And We decorated the lower universe with lamps, and for protection. That is the design of the Almighty, the All-Knowing. 30. Do the disbelievers not see that the heavens and the earth were one mass, and We tore them apart? And We made from water every living thing. Will they not believe? 31. And We placed on earth stabilizers, lest it sways with them, and We placed therein signposts and passages, that they may be guided. 32. And We made the sky a protected ceiling; yet they turn away from its wonders. 33. It is He who created the night and the day, and the sun and the moon; each floating in an orbit. 34. We did not grant immortality to any human being before you. Should you die, are they then the immortal? 35. Every soul will taste death. We burden you with adversity and prosperity-a test. And to Us you will be returned. 22. And in the heaven is your livelihood, and what you are promised. 23. By the Lord of the heaven and the earth, it is as true as the fact that you speak. 46. And before that, the people of Noah. They were immoral people. 47. We constructed the universe with power, and We are expanding it. 48. And the earth-We spread it out-How well We prepared it! 49. We created all things in pairs, so that you may reflect and ponder. 50. “So flee towards Allah. I am to you from Him a clear warner.” 51. “And do not set up any other god with Allah. I am to you from Him a clear warner.” 52. Likewise, no messenger came to those before them, but they said, “A sorcerer or a madman.” 53. Did they recommend it to one another? In fact, they are rebellious people. 54. So turn away from them; you are not to blame. 55. And remind, for the reminder benefits the believers. 56. I did not create the jinn and the humans except to worship Me. 57. I need no livelihood from them, nor do I need them to feed Me. 58. Allah is the Provider, the One with Power, the Strong. 59. Those who do wrong will have their turn, like the turn of their counterparts, so let them not rush Me. 60. So woe to those who disbelieve because of that Day of theirs which they are promised. 33. And there is a sign for them in the dead land: We give it life, and produce from it grains from which they eat. 34. And We place in it gardens of palm-trees and vines, and cause springs to gush out of it. 35. That they may eat from its fruits, although their hands did not make it. Will they not be appreciative? 36. Glory be to Him who created all the pairs; of what the earth produces, and of their own selves, and of what they do not know. 37. Another sign for them is the night: We strip the day out of it-and they are in darkness. 38. And the sun runs towards its destination. Such is the design of the Almighty, the All-Knowing. 39. And the moon: We have disposed it in phases, until it returns like the old twig. 40. The sun is not to overtake the moon, nor is the night to outpace the day. Each floats in an orbit. 41. Another sign for them is that We carried their offspring in the laden Ark. 42. And We created for them the like of it, in which they ride. 43. If We will, We can drown them-with no screaming to be heard from them, nor will they be saved. 44. Except by a mercy from Us, and enjoyment for a while. 45. Yet when it is said to them, “Beware of what lies before you, and what lies behind you, that you may receive mercy.” 46. Yet never came to them a sign of their Lord’s signs, but they turned away from it. 47. And when it is said to them, “Spend of what Allah has provided for you,” those who disbelieve say to those who believe, “Shall we feed someone whom Allah could feed, if He so willed? You must be deeply misguided.” 48. And they say, “When will this promise be, if you are truthful?” 49. All they can expect is a single blast, which will seize them while they feud. 50. They will not be able to make a will, nor will they return to their families. 51. The Trumpet will be blown, then behold, they will rush from the tombs to their Lord. 52. They will say, “Woe to us! Who resurrected us from our resting-place?” This is what the Most Gracious had promised, and the messengers have spoken the truth.” 53. It will be but a single scream; and behold, they will all be brought before Us. 54. On that Day, no soul will be wronged in the least, and you will be recompensed only for what you used to do. 55. The inhabitants of Paradise, on that Day, will be happily busy. 56. They and their spouses, in shades, reclining on couches. 57. They will have therein fruits. They will have whatever they call for. 58. Peace-a saying from a Most Merciful Lord. 59. But step aside today, you criminals. 60. Did I not covenant with you, O Children of Adam, that you shall not serve the devil? That he is your sworn enemy? 61. And that you shall serve Me? This is a straight path. 62. He has misled a great multitude of you. Did you not understand? 63. This is Hellfire, which you were promised. 64. Roast in it today, because you persistently disbelieved. 65. On this Day, We will seal their mouths, and their hands will speak to Us, and their feet will testify to everything they had done. 66. If We will, We can blind their eyes as they rush towards the path-but how will they see? 67. And if We will, We can cripple them in their place; so they can neither move forward, nor go back. 68. Whomever We grant old age, We reverse his development. Do they not understand? 69. We did not teach him poetry, nor is it proper for him. It is only a reminder, and a Clear Quran. 70. That he may warn whoever is alive, and prove the Word against the faithless. 71. Have they not seen that We created for them, of Our Handiwork, livestock that they own? 72. And We subdued them for them. Some they ride, and some they eat. 73. And they have in them other benefits, and drinks. Will they not give thanks? 74. Yet they have taken to themselves gods other than Allah, that perhaps they may be helped. 75. They cannot help them, although they are arrayed as troops for them. 76. So let their words not sadden you. We know what they conceal, and what they reveal. 77. Does the human being not consider that We created him from a seed? Yet he becomes a fierce adversary. 78. And he produces arguments against Us, and he forgets his own creation. He says, “Who will revive the bones when they have decayed?” 79. Say, “He who initiated them in the first instance will revive them. He has knowledge of every creation.” 80. He who produced fuel for you from the green trees, with which you kindle a fire. 81. Is not He who created the heavens and the earth able to create the like of them? Certainly. He is the Supreme All-Knowing Creator. 82. His command, when He wills a thing, is to say to it, “Be,” and it comes to be. 83. So glory be to Him in whose hand is the dominion of everything, and to Him you will be returned. Read The Quran

Just found you through The Kwak Brothers. So glad I went through the comments. I think I will try this out. My dad puts his fish directly in his garden and it really does well. I had some mackeral and did the same. Unfortunately, dog dug it up months later and I got stuck with a $500 vet bill. This I wll try. Also, OT, you won't regret keeping that washing machine of yours. if you want to avoid your dog getting in there again. buy a tug container (like those 30 gallon tubs with the rope handles) fill halfway with soil, fish, and some worms, then add a layer of soil and repeat. jist make sure the top quater of volume is pure soil. give it a couple months and that fish should be just bones. just make sure you cover the tub and keep it out of your dog's reach

I guess this is the liquid equivalent for fish, blood and bonemeal that so many gardeners use. More readily taken up by plants and essential for plants in pots which often get watered regularly but feeding too often forgotten. Large potted plants in gardens soon use up all the nutrients in the existing soil and people wonder why they look sick. Great chemistry.

I love the JADAM system, even more so than knf. Teaches you to work with nature and not against her. Regardless of the area you live in. Little tough to get started in my area, the Mojave desert, but it is quite possible, I've used it before to grow and extremely healthy micro food Forest. I've also learned that all animal based proteins can be used in this matter, just some takes longer than others and some require extra carbohydrates to get started. I've seen meat that has gone South and even ruined freezer burned meat used with really good success. If it came from the Earth, it can be returned to the Earth. 🤗 Plus one of my favorite sayings come from the old man that teaches the seminars for jadam, Evidence of what is seen above, is evidence of what is not seen below 🤗

Another fantastic video! Some alternatives to the ingredients are as follows: sardines packed in water are available fairly cheaply, especially if your store puts them on sale. They have the skin and bones, so they are just smaller versions of bigger fish that you might pick up somewhere. As for water, if you don’t have rainwater, and don’t want to use tapwater with all of the chemicals in there, Then, if you have either filtered water or a reverse osmosis system, you can use that water, and at least get something without the chemicals in it.

@gardenlikeaviking
@gardenlikeaviking 2 года назад
Happy to have you here my friend!.... yes if its not feasible to acquire the leaf mould then you can use your own homemade compost... just be certain its made in the open air and preferably exposed to direct contact with the ground... if you can go to some areas with wild grass, gather some of that and place into the compost and keep the compost fully covered.... the idea is to get the widest diversity of microorganisms possible... once its mostly broken down then use it in place of leaf mould

This works pretty well with the inedible waste parts of animal harvesting too. We process our own chickens and small meatstock, so whatever doesn't get packaged up for humans or dogs/cats gets chunked into a bucket for the plants. Hair and feathers are particularly good, being high in proteins to make nitrogen. Our fish trash gets added when we have it. I feel like the more diversity in the ingredients, the better the balance in the finished product.
@gardenlikeaviking

thats a great way to do it as well... personally I like to ferment ingredients separately then combine them at point of use... but either way yes diversity of microbes is key!

Hence, the water lock. BTW, if you put garden clippings in a bucket of water you'll also get a very stinky fertilizer about a week later. I was amazed that anything made only of edible plants and water could smell so bad. I poured the water on some grass in the sun and a couple of days later the smell was gone. I don't know that I would use it on any above-ground vegetables, but for flowers and unplanted soil it's great.
@gardenlikeaviking
@gardenlikeaviking 2 года назад
yes the Leaf Mould is absolute Key because it has the heavy lifters in it ... the Microorganisms.... and I suggest keeping these two separate and make one grass batch then one manure batch then one fish batch... it keeps things easier to control and make custom fertilizations like using lots of fish Fert early to promote lots of leafy growth
