Overnight with the tent stove I built during last summer fire ban. It worked great. Of course the downside is you cant load it with a lot of firewood because of the shape. The win is it fits nice in the pack and you have an awesome cooking space on top. The only thing I was worried about was the aluminium flag pole fittings underneath. I thought it would be no problem because of the spacing I installed with the extra nut but you cant be sure if you dont try it all night. And it worked like a charm. Even in the dark at night, when the top of the stove was red hot, I could hold my hand on those alu fittings! So im dead sure now no matter how hard you burn this stove the feet will hold. The alu won't melt.

Then onto a frustrating thing. I had this 40% alcohol expensive cognac with me to flame cook some beef...and the damn thing wouldn't catch?? Please anybody tell me why this happened. I tried to pour it on different things but it simply would not burn. Even tried to light it at home in my kitchen the day after. Bummer! Anyway,,, Still this was the best meal I ever had In the wild so cant be to disappointed.
As always. stuff for crafting carried to site and not harvested on location. Thanks for watching folks!
