Homemade Meatballs | Oven vs Air Fryer

Air fryer starts at 1:24 Storing meatballs in the freezer is a great way to quickly add protein to your meals. I'm cooking 37 today-24 oven, 13 air fryer-all from 1 pack of medium ground beef. I like that I can cook more meatballs at a time in a 9x13" pan versus my small air fryer, but I like the crispy outside of the air-fried meatballs slightly better than the softer baked ones. Which do you like more? Ingredients and Instructions below.
Meatball ingredients:
• 2 teaspoons garlic powder
• 2 teaspoons onion powder
• 2 teaspoons dried oregano
• 2 teaspoons dried basil
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
• 2 tablespoons milk (I used 2% partly skimmed)
Instructions:
1. Mix all the ingredients into the ground beef. I find it easiest to use my hands.
2. Roll meatballs into ping pong sized balls.
3. For oven: spray pan with cooking spray. I use Pam. Place meatballs in rows and bake at 400°F for 15 minutes first. Take meatballs out and scoop away any fat into a heat-safe dish. Bake again for 10 more minutes.
3. Air fryer: Place 1 layer of meatballs in at a time i.e., don't stack or overlap them. Cook at 390°F / 200°C for 14 minutes-flip meatballs halfway through.
4. As always, make sure to sanitize thoroughly after handling and cooking raw meat.
