U can use cooking spray or use simple veg oil or butter. I use A4 size paper for baking, I just bRush some oil or melted butter on it and works perfectly
the idea is creative but as i know a lot about baking my thought is we can not perfectly bake in these you can go to the market and get them within a very cheap price
Agreed.. because cupcake liners made with butter paper and this not butter it absorbs oil too much so may this could burn or dry your cupcake. By the way you can only make 4 with 1 paper and you can get 100 liner for 100 PKR and a4 paper costs 2 rupees PKR and then effort and time so not a good idea.
So to make 2 dozen cupcakes you have to go through that process 24 times! Lordt! It's a cute idea, good to know in a pinch I guess, but ain't nobody got time for that! Especially when you can buy 100 of them for $2.00.
Yeah but you can customize these to whatever design you want. I agree it is easy and cheap to just buy some, but for some really special occasion these would be awesome to put the effort into. However, I think I would use butter paper of glassine paper or even coffee liners and food safe ink to be safe.
this is super cute and would be great if you want a specific customized design on your liner that you can't get in the store. My only question is what kind of ink did you use and is it food safe? I have made cupcake liners out of parchment and even coffee filters in a pinch. (I was in an accident a few years ago and in a wheelchair, so I can't just run to the store if I am out of something I need.) So, I truly appreciate videos like this!
It's a cute, bit time consuming idea. My only concern is the markers. It looks like some bled thru, but even if it didn't, are there fumes from the markers that seep into the food? 🤔🧁
I agree. This must be a craft project for after the world ends and you need something to do while the Walkers lose interest. If done like in the video I'd say use it as a decorator cup after baking for like a bake sale or a display, but do not take it out of its other wrapper. Or use a food safe marker on the paper, there is black and a couple basic colors at Walmart and of course the different craft stores have their brands. Just keep those as their own set I wouldn't want to use them on food after . Some restaurants and bakeries mark their parchment paper before going in the oven to Mark what kind of pies are on the tray, to be a template, or Mark whose it is. I have seen Sharpie, regular ink pens, pencil and I've even seen someone Market with masking tape. Just what I've seen and I am not saying if it's safe or unsafe
Nice idea. Thanks for sharing. But are these papers and marker are safe for open food like cakes and cookies?. Better to use food grade papers & edible pen writer
Absolutely not these are not the decoration edible paints when we will put the liquid batter in those moulds the ink will start mixing even if you dried them
You are just awesome. This are done by machines but you made it by yourself and it's so perfect. Just love it ☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️
As paper will burn in heat..can it be microwaved....?? And can we use buttersheet as the liner u made...?? Please reply to these 2 questions as soon as possible... Recipe is nice😄
