Worry not! I crashed my diy depron plane on the maiden flight as well! The problem was of course CG - it was tail-heavy so much that I had to add a small wrench to the front ;) And I barely avoided crashing into a car parked next to the field. So the lesson learned - know your CG!

information :54 the track width of the main lg is Excessive. this mis-located mass adversely affects roll-axis stability. locate 25 percent of chord, put cg there. (25% because of the wonkiness of the model) invert a low-wing model during cg balancing. the use of full strip ailerons is not recommended. 3:09 that's good analysis. now you know why, when using wire pushrods, the use of one or more pushrod GUIDES may be necessary. ( servos do NOT go at the tail. putting them there, makes the Tail HEAVY.! )
