This is my homemade tablesaw project.
I designed this plan as everybody can make tablesaws with quite basic tools. When you have a welder, this structure can be done easier.
I hope these movies help you.
Plans & 3D models will be available on my website for free.
From now on, I will upload DIY & carpentry videos using this table saw. Please like & subscribe to watch out and make sure.

Good video and a job well done , I built a 4-1 box ,table saw , router, inverted jig saw and disc sander .After watching all the videos I decided to go full size 3' x 4' top ,and I am glad I did . My original skill saw gave out so I upgraded to a Makita 10,&1/4" saw now I have much more cutting capability and cutting height with my sled " it wasn't cheap" . Enjoyed the video !

Thanks 😆 Yours sounds nice 👍 In this table saw project, I was thinking about a jigsaw mount and actually I made a router/jigsaw table last year before these videos (I didn’t take the making video tho.) But my concern is its usage. 3 or 4 in 1 means the other 2 or 3 functions might be killed when we are using 1 function. Meanwhile, possibly I can’t use the jigsaw function when I set up the router. This is what we should think about this.

Sorry for inconvenience. These were my first project on RU-vid, so I was not so good at making RU-vid videos. After I make a fence and thread, I’ll begin the improved table saw project. I learned so much from comments of you and other viewers. Thanks. I’ll make more comprehensive series of videos.

Nice! But I couldn't make any sense of it until you loaded the saw and saw the way it worked. May I suggest to you to slow down the video a bit? I understand the video will be long if you play it in normal speed but you can snip here and there to shorten it. Like if you screw a few screws, just show one will do. Some voice over will be nice or maybe you can just put some subtitle to replace it if you feel shy. On video measurements will be even better. Keep it up. Love the jig. Looking forward to see more.

Don't trust the alloy fender. It is quite weak. Mine broke during normal use at the hinge. So, I wouldn't recommend putting screws through it for the lifting mechanism.

Just one precision: is it enough rigid so that there is no vibration of the circular saw blade when it's work ?
@SeanKamki
@SeanKamki 7 лет назад
Essentially tablesaws require good tuning. I have to well adjust all bolts and nuts of course. Then it has no significant vibration. I designed this structure based on the original design of circular saws; Every circular saw has its base plate. Saw body is attached onto its base plate, usually only by 2 supports. I just used these 2 pivot points to attach the saw body to tablesaw. Nothing different from original structure of circular saw at the point of these supports. Anyway I'm planning to upload videos, using this tablesaw. Watch out and make sure. I never let you down.

@SeanKamki
@SeanKamki 7 лет назад

Actually I'm making a new video that can show what you asked, though it is taking much time. I'm working on it. I'd like to do more on a website to offer more information but I'm doing all by myself and it's a bit overwork. I need somebody to help me. As for depth, the accuracy depends not on this structure of table saw but on the original hinge of circular saw. When the hinge of your circular saw is nice and accurate, the saw blade will go up and down accurately. So we have to choose a good circular saw.
@etahnhollds8511
@etahnhollds8511 7 лет назад

very good jobs ;) , where is the model of your circular saw ?
@SeanKamki
@SeanKamki 6 лет назад
Thanks. I used Makita's M585 190mm. Now I'm thinking of an universal design for any circular saws and, this is still not a fixed idea tho, probably it's better to make 2 shaft holder by small steel pieces and to screw or weld on the attachment plate. Then this design will be useful for any sorts of circular saws.
