I totally agree with you on the trials of green peppers. I thought I was the only person on earth that thought they were bitter. Thank you so much for doing such great videos and not putting green peppers in your chilli.
Whenever I see anything having to do with Turkey Chili, I immediately think of the Parks and Rec episode when Amy Poehler is trying to name the sexiest food, and she lists off bananas, cucumbers, and then says "You know what's sexy? Turkey chili," all while giving the camera this awkward stare. It's one of my favorite moments of the show, and turkey chili is one of my favorite foods (regardless of its sexy factor). Thanks for the recipe. I go way heavier on beans and sauce -- and I typically serve mine over rice, though I suppose that's a pretty Southern thing to do! I'll try yours out!
Thank you for using turkey in your recipes! Chili is one of my favorites, but I don't eat red meat (as I know a lot of other people don't too)! So this is perfect! You're totes awesome.
This thought just came into my mind..... You have over 700 recipes and I could pick one to cook for tea every night for a year and still not done with it lol. Thank you for all the great recipes!
Laura! I made these tonight for my family for dinner and it came out SOOO delicious. It felt very light and healthy. Thank you for the wonderful recipe! :) Congratulations by the way.
Making this tomorrow for Super Bowl Sunday. It’s my 2nd time. Slam dunk. I put a slice or two of avocado on top with a small dollop of light sour cream. Yum! Props to my favorite RU-vid cook! Muah!
I just made this Turkey Chili for the first time and it tastes delicious! After eating I didn't feel that heaviness I usually feel after beef chili. Great recipe Laura!
I,ve been watching your channel for the pass year, I so enjoy your cooking. I've also started watching your vlog. You are so funny! And i will be making this chilli....Thanks Laura.
I made this today for dinner Laura I must say it was delicious. I used home cooked Kidney beans instead they worked perfect. I will never go back to the can junk. Thank you Laura :)
Laura I made this and it was wonderful. I'm on a special diet so I did omit the sugar and corn. But you are so right the red bell peppers were wonderful. thanks a bunch.
Laura I searched your channel and I was shocked to see you didn't have a recipe for a delicious Scrambled Eggs (w/ cheese) breakfast dish. Sometime this year please? :D
I thought my Mom was the only person to add corn to her chili! lol. I love it. She has always added corn and I really don't care for chili without it now! I will definitely be trying this recipe!
Now I know what I'm cooking for dinner tonight, thank u! I love all your recipes!! I went to your website to find the recipe but I can't find it? Idk if u loaded it up yet??
When my mother makes Chili she puts cornbread down on the bottom of the bowl with the chili on top so its a salty/sweet combo. You should try it sometime!
Thank You Laura! I have always said green peppers are NOT GOOD. Red peppers are my preference because they have good flavor and cook up sweet and delicious. I now feel like my opinion has been reaffirmed! Thanks again Laura!
I just made this and its so good ....I admit I was iffy about corn n brown sugar but it is such a nice surprise that I like it....alot actually ...thanx :)
Looks delicious! My recipe is similar except I add a green bell pepper (just one), No Corn and no Brown sugar. Mine was an old recipe that I changed a little to adjust to weight watchers..
I feel exactly the same way about green bell peppers ... they are horrible. Next time try adding Chickpeas to the chili for the beans. They are wonderful and have a hit of sweetness to them.
That looks so delicious! I love your show and your vlog, it is amazing! I use your recipes all the time, and I swear, none of them have ever gone wrong! My family usually puts really dark chocolate (like 75%) in our chili and it is incredible, it really ads a fantastic deep flavor! :)
