The notorious Indian kettle. It’s not only an electrical hazard but it also causes the metal to corrode in the water making it toxic. Just buy an electric kettle
I agree with you 1000 percent , anybody who does this is asking for big trouble , They have electric immersion heaters available at Amazon from heating a cup to a bucket of water , Immersion heaters are made using a sheathed heating element so it is electrically insulated from the water , , So if you need an immersion heater , Get one from Amazon for safety's sake Never take chances with electricity It's not worth risking your life to save a few bucks
Before I posted my first reply , I looked up on Amazon and they have an array of electric immersion heaters available from heating up a cup of water to heating up a bucket of water , I myself have an immersion heater for heating up a cup of water to make some hot cocoa during the winter and costs less than 10 dollars , These kind of videos , For example , Making a home made immersion heater where electricity is in direct contact with the water should be forbidden , Any video of making something that can seriously injure or kill somebody should be strictly forbidden on RU-vid , I am very strict when it comes to electrical safety and I'm just trying to pass it on because I don't ever want to see or hear about somebody getting hurt or killed by an electrical accident , Virtually all electrical accidents are preventable So don't put your life at risk or the lives of others by fooling around with electricity , In everything you do ALWAYS PUT SAFETY FIRST !!!!
@@ironmartysharpe8293 Yes because Amazon immersion heaters made in China are much better... but not by much if any. Yeah, I'm just messin' with you about Amazon. An immersion heater made to be submerged in water is a much better idea, just make sure it's of good quality.
I would only use it in an extreme emergency when life is at stake! Because electricity flows through water, it is very dangerous and can be fatal if you are not careful. If you don't believe it, try touching the water with a metal spoon during heating, or use a metal container instead of a plastic one.
Kayaknya yg beginian GK aman buat dikonsumsi deh pak, adazat zat apa gitu lupa sehingga airnya pun tampak kehitaman setelah di panaskan tuh, tapi GK tau pak, saya baca di koment orang luar
So was that special tubing or what also it's very similar to electrolysis which I do quite a bit and I've never once I electrocuted myself the human body can take many many volts but hardly any amps .
Nothing really (if it's hot enough you'll get burned) unless you stick your hand right up next to the spoons, you will not be electrocuted if that's what you are wondering. The short/flow of electricity is contained at the spot where the two spoons are closest together, there's some free electrons floating around in there but not enough to do much by just sticking a finger in it.
