Waffle Cookie Recipe:
2 sticks butter (or margarine) softened NOT melted
Baker's unsweetened baking bar (melted)
4 eggs
2 cups sugar
2 cups flour
2 tsp vanilla
Icing:
1/2 cup powdered sugar
2-3 tbsp milk / heavy cream
1/4 tsp vanilla
(should be thick not runny)

In the past with kichen work I always found being organised from before dawn after prayers was my greatest gift to Christ I could give through Him of course, and within that quiet time when all were sleeping still I worked the meals. I especially took the Sabath very seriously as a Catholic and did all my cooking on Saturday, preparing in joy for Sunday with special foods. Enjoy watching you. Jesus be blessing your stressful times, just draw Him into the task and with gratitude sing a song to Him. I find singing takes away all negative feelings trying to ruin the joy of the task.

I love this! Thank you for the wonderful tips. I definitely need to sing through the negative times as well. I also need to be better at preparing food on Saturday. We try to be very strict on the Sabbath as well. Thank you!

Love your videos! As a single momma of 5, working 50+ hours a week not too much down time. Maybe lacking patience as well. They were fed, loved and known by their savior ❤I’m much better with my grandbabies.

Hi, Kelsey! Reently The Lord has been showing me verses about gentlgentleness quietude, softness, calmness... So, this video is another nudge to learn about meakness, wich to me is another synonym of those virtues.😊 Just yesterday I read 1 Peter 3:3-4. Like you said, what a honour to be called daughter of Christ! I'm sorry about your pantry, but sometimes these moments that seem disastrous are good to make us grow and give thanks for all the abundancy God gives us. And think of others that aren'r as fortunate as we and give to them also, like you so well mentioned. Can't you find some metal shelves to replace the old ones? Those are more sturdy and can support more weight. About your recipes, I'm going to check the recipe for the waffle cookies, but that soup made my mouth water! God bless and may He give us a pure heart and a meak spirit.🙏 PS - Have you noticed that God's Commandments for us, are exactly what the world (especially in these last decades) tells us, women, not to be? Meak, soft, calm, peaceful, gentle, obedient to our husbands, feminine...

Don't you love when the Spirit continues to nudge you in different ways. I love 1 Peter! You are so right about the pantry. It gives us time and opportunity to give thanks for what we do have! My husband loves wood working, so he wants to build new shelves. He has many projects, so it may be a few months. I LOVE what you said about what God commands us to do, the world tells us not to! We can't be of this world and of Him, so we shouldn't expect that the world would align with what God wants for us, especially women nowadays. I love that! May I share this in a future video? Love all that you have said!

It seems like Satan tries to get to us sometimes. I once made a rememberence center piece for my dinningroom table. It had a blue Mason jar of water with a zinc lid, a pint jar of salt with a zinc lid, a small metal milk jug thing with a lid that I kept flour in, and a bottle of olive oil....all things needed to make unleavened bread. The Biblical nutritionist does a RU-vid video on making unleavened bread with these ingredience.. I just got done arranging it and stood back to admire it when water poured down from our ceiling, waterfalls off of our fan blades and light bulb globes and cascaded onto my rememberence set. My husband and his was replacing the rubber seal under the toilet and was moving the toilet to the upstairs hallway when the tank came lose some how and it's contents rained through the kitchen ceiling. Funny how when we try to make God the center of our house hold, the enemy attacks. But we clean it up and refuse to budge. Within a couple hours my rememberence set was back on the table.

Oh I must mention though, that I had to change the salt lid out from the old fashioned zinc to cork. Apparently salt does a number on zinc. Therefore if you decide go that route you might want to avoid that mistake. 😏

Thank you! It is an old doctor book that was my great grandparents. My mom gave it to my husband when he became a doctor. It is very cool and should probably be in his office, but I like it. 🙃

I love your videos please can you talk about social media as a catholic. I am fine with youtube because I learn and am inspired from it but I have addiction with Facebook and TikTok and I don’t know how to deal with them as catholic 😢please can you think on doing a video on this as I think there’s others out their that must struggle aswell on how to use social media for good in our lives and use it for Gods glory and to lead others to God 🙏🏽

I hope you don't mind me jumping in on this question. I would love to see a video on this also. I am not catholic but I am Christian and I struggled with this also. There came a day where I felt it had to be done and simply got rid of my FB account. Being that I was addicted, this was not an easy task to accomplish, I almost felt panicky as I did. But I realized that if anything is controlling me more than God then it had to go. It was the only social media I was active on. I found it too tempting to "debate" people on FB and it was just an overall toxic place really. I have been without FB for over 2 years now and I don't miss it at all. I really think that the decision to keep or get rid of social media should be between you and God. Ask God to convict you if He sees it an issue. As yourself if it is controlling you more than God is. Is it taking up more of your time and attention than God is? Are you tempted to say things you shouldn't while on social media? Do you live for the likes? These are just some guiding questions that might help you decide if God would have you use social media. If say, a Gmail or GPA was only on social media to see updates on their grandchildren and really didn't interact much at all, I would say they likely don't need to give it up. But if you're telling your toddler to wait for a few minutes while you continue mindlessly scrolling through social media, then you likely should give it up (just my opinion). I hope something I said might help you. But also, I hope to see a video on this for other Christians thoughts on this subject too.

I have several friends that ended up feeling 'ruled' by social media & just got RID of it. It was consuming too much of their precious time & energy. it was creating negativity & insecurity. I have never had it, I will never have it. Anyone I come into contact with will make 'excuses' as to WHY they have it & it is never legitimate sounding. they will say things like, "well, I only have it to see photos of my grandkids." Well why in the world can't you see photos some other way, why can't your son/daughter be thoughtful enough to send you photos or have visits?. That is a whole bigger problem, in my eyes. Or they will say, "well, its the only way I can keep up with old friends that live far away." All I see this doing is robbing time that could be spent with friends that are RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU. Or if they are that distant that you can only see them on fb, then maybe they are not real friends. Let those friends go (keep them in your heart of course, but don't commit time on social media). I have several friends/family that live far away..you know what?....they still communicate with me with other methods & our friendships have remained intact to a degree. But what I DO have is lots of friends that live within a 30 minute driving radius that I see ALL the time. It just causes a lot of envy, enoui, insecurity, depression, anxiety, and lack of completion. I will NEVER have social media due to these reasons. And why not commit to a time frame - like being off of it for 2 weeks & see what happens? I have watched parents tell their kids to "hold on I'm doing something important" while they are scrolling crap, txting someone, or playing minecraft. Parents - your children grow up so, so fast - please be present

There is so much I want to get done around my house but I can't go very fast right now. I'm 5 and a half month pregnant, pushing 40 years old, and have degenerative disk disease (why do they call it a disease? It's not a disease). So it doesn't take much for my back to hurt. The next few months are going to be rough. But I just do what I can, rest when I need to and then do what I can again. BTW I love your chalk board! I have been looking for one like that. Where, might I ask, did you find it?

I bought it from FB marketplace 😬. Sorry, I know that's not helpful. It is totally okay that you have to take it slow. It isn't like you are choosing to be lazy or purposely avoiding your daily tasks and requirements. I say keep on going! Do what you can, without pushing it, and putting your body at risk. You are doing awesome! Pregnancy in general can be so exhausting and makes it harder to get things done, let alone adding a disk issue on top of that. You are doing great things!

I created a prek kindergarten curriculum that we use westmanacademyhomeschool.com/product/foundations-in-education-curriculum We also use Seton, and most of the Ambleside year 1 booklist. Thank you! This dress was given to me from a friend who didn't want it. I'm sorry! I don't necessarily have a testimony. I was raised Catholic and always believed in Jesus. I definitely had times of questioning God and what specifically I believed. I would say I developed a true relationship with Him about 3 years ago joining a Bible study called Walking With Purpose. 🥰

I believe when going for classic style and colors, you can't be very wrong ! I love pants: not jeans but like cotton fabric in white or blue and a matching blouse .. in summer I wear pants at knee length, not shorts . Dresses with lots of floral prints ,colorful,..once tried to make my own dress but that did not work out very well😅😅.! Succes 👗👕👍
