@@aerisgainsborough2141 Makes me wish it had been Bart or Barney who went with Homer. At least they know how to have a good time with some fun reactions.
As mature Lisa is, it's still so sweet that she's still holding Homer's hand when they go around town, I know it's not important but it's still so cute.
They are dysfunctional family but the whole family is weirdly wholesome as the show, more as the show aged and they didn't have Homer strangling Bart lol
I think the modern stuff, animation-wise, always looked pretty good. Looked kinda weird when they first shifted to HD, but after a couple seasons it actually starts to look really nice. Not saying anything about the writing tho lmao.
After watching this for about the half of the total views now, I truly enjoy this detail so minimal, most people would even care: 1:25 when Homer walks out of the restaurant, the classical sound of step on concrete is heard, but the moment he steps on the steel grid, a steel sound is heard :)
@@ed_Skynight Some people look down upon AMerican cuisine, but Creole and Cajun food is honestly the most unique and amazing food you can find in the United States.
I love the way homer likes to live through his food. I love going to new places and eating and seeing what they have to offer. I just wish I had his appetite 🤣
@@zaneviper That’s not how it goes. Every King Cake has a baby inside it and whoever gets the baby has to buy the next King Cake. If you happen to be eating King Cake at a restaurant (nobody does this), that would mean you’re supposed to order another entire King Cake.
@@hapolla0064 Representative of baby Jesus (which is also why it’s a *King* Cake). This is because Mardi Gras is meant as a festival of indulgence before Ash Wednesday, which is the beginning of Lent, a time of fasting and prayerfulness in Catholicism. Getting a piece of King Cake with the baby in it means that you have to buy the next King Cake for the next party (Mardi Gras is like a month long holiday with parades, balls, lots of parties, and Fat Tuesday itself turns New Orleans into one large parade route/bar). Festive beads are thrown from every float and sometimes festive masks as well, which look something like Jester masks. If ever you’re in New Orleans for Fat Tuesday, do not drive to the parades, because parking will be impossible and drunk drivers are very common during Mardi Gras. Uber may cost a bit more, but it’s worth it. Also, open containers are a-ok in New Orleans (pot is decriminalized also).
I'm amazed Homer never made a Food Blog to document what food is good. I remember he was a food critic in one episode and in another episode Marge, Bart and Lisa became Food Blogs.
Although it’s always cool to see pop culture reference scenes, it’s a real pleasure to see something storyboarded from scratch with a real good rhythm. Absolutely love this scene!!
Is just one big boring advertisement of new Orleans ... Sad because this scene is the best part and a VERY good part (and could be funnier with a more solid episode) BTW the princess and the frog showed New Orleans in a WAY COOLER WAY... DAMN i love that movie ♥
First time i have actually wanted to eat a food from a western cartoon show, that usually only happens with anime, congrats to the animators for actually achieving that.
Homer has alot of things to be envious of but the thing I envy most about him is that he can eat and eat and eat and still have an appetite I normally eat 1 meal and I regret it cause of how full I feel
Homer Simpson's love for foods always whets my appetite 😋. Thank you Simpsons for being with us through many years. And thank you for uploading this video
This episode was lame... But this scene is cool and has lots of meme potential! It made it OK (correct me if I'm wrong but, didn't this cool scene became a mini meme last year?)
People complain about the animation, and I understand but you’ve got to admit the detail and the backgrounds are just amazing, especially in this clip where they show a bunch of different heavily detailed backgrounds.
