I kept looking at you at Teach them diligently thinking "why does she look so familiar?!" 😂 But it was never a time where I could connect the internet dots til we got home. What a fantastic conference! It was my husband and my first experience going and we have already signed up for next! It was everything I hoped and more! Telling everyone in my circle it's a MUST for vision and encouragement! My eyes have been opened and we are ready to change things up a lot!❤🎉

I’ve been in full blown planning mode! Thought I knew mostly what I was doing, made some changes, and am starting to feel pretty confident about the direction I want to go. I’ll have a senior! 😱

Our oldest also starts high school this next school year. Feeling some excitement & apprehension about that. Excited to hear what you will be using!

Yes, I am thinking through what to do for next year and no, I do not have it all planned out yet. There are just a couple of questions in my mind that I am hoping I will be able to find some answers for at the homeschool convention in my area. Next year I will have a child in pre-k, first grade, second grade, fourth grade, 7th grade and 10th grade as well as a newborn. It may be a lot, but I'm honestly excited for the next year.

This school went so fast for us! 😂 I can’t believe it’s over. My daughter is going into high school next year as well. My oldest has graduated from public school. I have 2 sons. Older going into 6th and my youngest is 3. I agree that it is so cool to see them grow. We are eclectic as well. Language arts is always so hard for me to piece together, I almost dread it! Watching videos always helps. Looking forward to seeing your choices!😊❤

My upcoming 8th grader does very well in math, but we are going to use Denison math. I've heard it's not just for kids that struggle in math. I struggle in math so I hope this will be a good fit for us, lol. I love your videos!

My son will be in 3rd grade next year. I would love to go to TTD but I am not getting to this year, maybe one day.

It has been a great homeschool year. My kids did very well and really enjoyed homeschooling. They previously attended a Christian school, so this was a big change for them. I love the many read-a-louds we did together. We also did a few fun field trips. I have all my curriculum for next year. I'm changing a couple things to try to improve some weaker areas. I'm excited about what we are learning. The end of the year has been tough because my husband is going through a lot of struggles with heart failure, and he's been in and out of the hospital. My kids have had to be very independent recently, but they still manage to do well so I'm very proud that they can handle it. I enjoy being more a part of what they are learning.

Next year I will have a 10th, 9th, 8th, 6th, 4th, 1st and pre-k. We do a lot of learning together so grades don’t really matter to us :). Love your channel.

This school year, our two year old son, who is medically complex, was in the hospital 4 times! We homeschool our pre-K daughter, and I reason that she learned other life skills in those nearly 4 weeks.

I have a newly turned 9 yr old going into 3rd and a 5 yr old continuing kinder. I am looking at new curriculum, mostly trying to decide if i switch from AAR to Logic of English Essentials because it incorporates spelling, grammar, and more reading skills. But oldest is doing well with AAR, I'm bored with it, lol. Plus she needs spelling and I'm just not excited about adding AAS. On the other hand, if it's working, why change? I'm going to a smaller local convention in June. I'll be looking at Generations booth for history. Biblioplan will be there too and they seem interesting.

I will have a 6th grader and 8th grader next year. I have everything decided with the exception of being fully committed to what we will use for math and science for my 8th grader. He is math and science minded, and currently wants to prepare for a STEM path. He has been die hard MUS and Apologia. I’m not sure MUS fits his goals and Apologia is currently updating Physical science. He really wants to stick with Apologia and I’m 95% sure that’s what we’ll do, but I get so nervous about new releases. We are sticking with Sonlight for HBL and LA. My 6th grader will continue with Sonlight, Horizons math 6, and Apologia. I can’t wait to see what you choose for Algebra.

My upcoming 11th grader still doesn't know what he wants to do, so my plan from 9th grade was to take a college-prep track in core subjects while making his electives as his special interest focuses. Denison isn't just for struggling math students... one thing is that they do not cover proofs in Geometry, but Mr. Denison explains that philosophy on his website. Both my kids took it this year - one Pre-Algebra and one Geometry.... highly recommend!

But my son does well with math and really enjoys math. He is pretty math minded and likes a challenge. According to the website and Mr Denison at convention last year, it wouldn’t fit him as well. I actually had Mr Denison in high school and loved him, but math never came easy to me. I intended to use it because of my own personal experience with him as my public school math teacher.
