It is a curriculum designed to teach young children grammar skills in a fun and engaging way. We'll go through the curriculum's structure, lessons, and activities, and at the end of the video I’ll give you my pros and cons of this curriculum.
First Language Lessons is a comprehensive grammar curriculum for children in grades 1-2, but it can be adapted for use with children of other ages. The curriculum is designed to help children develop strong foundational skills in grammar, sentence structure, narration, copywork, and dictation. It is considered a classical approach but would fit well with Charlotte Mason type homeschoolers as well! With short and interactive lessons, First Language Lessons is perfect for young learners with shorter attention spans.
I’ll show you a peak inside the lesson book so you can have a clear understanding of what each lesson looks like. Even though my book is an older version, the content is still similar in the new books!
