We also do the daily subjects and weekly subjects as well as stuff like economics and civics we do a couple times a year. We do Bible, Math, language arts and reading daily everything else is on rotation
When time, can you share a lesson or guide to using language well curriculum it’s SCM I think. We are still using AAR in our home but it seems like a good transition.
You could definitely read some things at breakfast or dinner together, play educational games together, and absolutely be doing narrations with your child! I narrate to my kids, too, it is helpful for all of us to practice!
Great picks! I’m considering using Using Language Well/Spelling Wisdom for my rising fourth grader this year. This is our first year using the Charlotte Mason method. Would you recommend starting at the beginning of the book, or the second half? Also, do you find it is enough, or do you recommend additional writing practice? 🤍
