I felt so at home watching how learning with real children doesn’t look like quiet little puppet sitting still and all eyes, but it’s fun and wriggly and you get there in the end… I loved watching your flexibility and this beautiful video was just a good reset for me on how having realistic expectations can create a happier homeschool environment! I continually check in on you because you where the only RU-vid homeschooling mom I could find who was using both AAR and TGTB to teach your children to read, and I was able to see your success, so I’m following along with the same tag teaming between both curriculums and am really loving how it’s been going! Thank you for your beautiful content!

We also combine AAR, reading eggs and TGTB and it works beautifully and keeps it interesting.

That was a very touching moment watching you with your children singing Be Thou My Vision. ❤️ You mentioned scriptures from Charlotte Mason toward the beginning of your video. Where did you get those from? I was also curious about the program you used when teaching about the Spartans. Thank you for a glimpse into your day. I also wouldn't mind a video on how you use your sourdough starter. I am just starting one myself and am a bit nervous about it. Haha

When I made bread I loved it but I can’t imagine doing it at the moment. We’ve just moved!!! We’ve just finished lion witch and the wardrobe!!! We are doing a lot of phonics work with our youngest so that she’s confident in reading when she’s gets there!!! All my kids lounge around as they do school and I don’t mind!!!

I'm sorry for such a random question, but I was just wondering what time you started? I've now got 2 littles I'm schooling and finding it hard to fit everything in so trying to find a good routine! All work in progress. Thank you for sharing your day with us! 😀 x
