I wish I had motivation. I feel so lazy most days and I feel so bad about myself in that way. I still make sure my children do their school work and my house is clean but I never feel like doing any of it. I’m currently trying to get into the habit of working out which is also a feat in itself. These videos give me something to strive for and I appreciate them. I thank you for that!
Love these ditl videos! The memory verse you shared was encouraging in my own life. Love your boldness to share biblical content- we need more of it on the internet! We don’t have children yet, but I know your homeschooling content has me so inspired to homeschool (currently a preschool teacher so I’m a curriculum nerd) and TGATB seems like it’ll be our choice when that season of life arrives. Your content is always such a blessing! Thank you for uploading your life!
Every time you close out your ditl videos I have that sense of tired satisfaction that comes at the end of a good, productive day.....except it’s from watching someone else’s day..on a screen..condensed into 20 min 😂. Great video as always!
I feel this about going in stores. I've literally only gone into a grocery store about a dozen times in a year. No target, no big boxes or anything. I literally cannot stand all this mask nonsense and it just gives me bad anxiety dealing with people now. Our circle has definitely gotten smaller and that's okay by me at this point. Thanks for sharing. I've been feeling this same way about cleaning out etc. We've been working on one project in the house a day just so I can make myself get it all done to my liking.
Hoping this gives me a little motivation to clean/organize my room. I've finally finished painting my whole house, every room got a a fresh coat (2) of paint, including trim. I even painted some furniture to brighten everything up. Now my room ended up becoming the catch all room, have to find homes for what I stacked in there, whether it be in the house or in the dumpster lol.
Can you do a weekly weight training/exercise video like what to you do each day? I have cardio down but looking for a solid routine for weights and get overwhelmed when I look online for which exercises to do and how many reps, etc. I need simple lol
Love watching your day in the life! And I love your gray school cart! We have 6 of them in a different color for our homeschooling and they are some of my most favorite purchaes!
I love hearing your kids knowing the truth of scripture. So beautiful and encouraging! 😍 Also, I bet I know why Costco isn't your favorite place! 🙄 I try to avoid going as well, but we have to stock up again soon. Stay strong momma! You're an inspiration!
Right there with you on avoiding shopping in person. It's so depressing and truthfully makes me kinda mad. But that's me :) Thankfully my husband does a pretty good Costco run for us. But I do miss the finding of new things there.
Your basset hounds are so adorable, and really want one from seeing yours. I wish you could do a video, and saying why someone should get a basset. My husband isn’t on board, and I really want him to hear why they are a good breed.
We had the sweetest basset hound. She was so good with my daughter. She would let her sit on her when my daughter was a toddler. Unfortunately, we had to put her down two years ago because of her third bout of skin cancer. I miss my Honey so much! Basset hounds are the best!
I would LOVE to hear more about how you set up for a homeschool group poetry tea time. I would be interested in starting it with our homeschool co-op but not sure where to start and what to do to make it a successful tea time. Do you do it monthly? I’ve heard you talk about it before but can’t remember the details.
I definitely hear you on the Costco.... loved that place :( but I''m voting with my dollars from here on out. Goodbye Costco, Goodbye Amazon, Goodbye Target... sure my avenues of spending/purchasing are narrowing. But then I ask... Is that really so bad?! The LORD graciously opened my eyes to many things in 2020. I count that a huge blessing. Praying blessings over you, your family and the virtuous work of homeschooling!
Yes. This. Me too! I've been purposely giving my money to small businesses and grocery stores that are smaller. We have figured it out. I found a really great local deer processing market and they have a market inside to buy fresh no antibiotic and grass fed meat. We do a very small local grocery store when I do need to go. We grow and can as much as possible. I found a cute little place to get fresh fruits and veggies when I want to have an outing for my kids and they have homemade fresh ice cream. There are absolutely ways to vote with your dollars. If 2020 taught us anything in my house it's that you have to be strong in your convictions no matter which way they are. We keep our circle small and only with trusted people who relate to our new lifestyle.
I want a basset hound. I think they are the cutest! So far we've had a Golden and now a Goldendoodle. They are awesome too! How do you motivate yourself to workout in your garage? I have a small area in our house that I can do something's but I really want to make a gym area in our garage. I just don't know if I can motivate myself to head out to the garage 😂
I really need to know how you keep yourself house clean with dogs!!! I have one beagle and she sheds everywhere! Do you give them something to help the shedding? Please help! I don’t want my husband to send her back outside. The boys and I are really enjoying having her inside, except for the constant vacuuming!😜
Are your kids curious about going to school with other kids and a campus where they can do sports and other group activities? Are they always going to be homeschooled? How do you make sure they develop social skills while being homeschooled? Do you teach them about documented history and not only the bible? What do they want to be when they grow up and how do you make sure you teach them real world knowledge about topics that the bible doesnt document because the bible pertained to a certain period of time? I hope you can answer these questions i have as I am also considering homeschooling my babies💖
You have great activities to learn and enhance skills❤️ Have you considered learning Spanish as another way to broaden your children's skills? We would love to partner with you!
I've been trying to avoid going to Costco as well. I had my first Costco delivery through Instacart. Heavenly! No need to go and all brought straight to the house. (Sigh of relief) Check it out!
Thank you for sharing your homeschooling Day with us ! I was wondering while listening to your reading about jesus and the middle easy. And I dont really understand how jesus can be God and still get killed et crucified ? How God can die ?
