I have always wondered how I would classify myself as a homeschool mom and it is so so clear to me. I am mainly that Charlotte Mason mom with a peppering of unschool 😂 truly, it is like watching myself everytime I watch these videos
We were at another homeschool house the other day and my son brought me a book on the Periodic Table. He pointed to the balloon on the spine of the book and said, "This should be good, Mom. It's Usborne."
@@sleeplessinthecarolinas8118 I shouldn't have been surprised that he's caught my Usborne obsession, and now that he's becoming an independent reader, it's a whole new ballgame.
LOL. The part where she brought all her books, that's like me! Always reading several at a time. And the parts with setting up the easles to paint. And the portable bathrooms. lol. Great job.
Salvation is a free gift from God. “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” -John 3:16 If you believe in your heart the Jesus is Lord and that He is the son of God and that He died on the cross for your sin and rose again, and you confess this all with your mouth, you shall be saved. Repent from your sins and accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Amen❤️ God bless you all I hope you have a wonderful day!🙏❤️✝️
Next video idea: Homeschool moms in the kitchen be like.... There should be things fermenting in the unschoolers kitchen, most definitely kombucha! The Charlotte Mason mom is making a maticulously themed meal based on their current read-aloud And the classical mom's kids are making a some sort of complex french food.
I most identified with the homeschool mom who unschools 🏡 When we are at the park my children love to create things and be a little dangerous 🛝 😂😂Wonderful job ladies
@@SummerMeyers all three of our kids, we homeschooled them from preschool up to college! Our youngest graduated in 2020. It was such a big part of my life that I thought I’d feel relief when I finally got to retire from it, but I honestly miss it now! Makes me wonder if I can homeschool someone else’s child for a while. 🤔 Parkdays were the best, I didn’t realize how precious they were until they were over! An co-ops and field trips and… 😭😭😭
Wow! Just at the start of the pandemic! How crazy is that! After 25 years, you should start a homeschool consultation gig! Recently I've been day dreaming about all the free time I'll have when my kids head out, (still have at least 20 years to go and even then it's not a sure thing, right?) But this was a good reminder to hang on to the present. ❤️🥹🥰
@@SummerMeyers they grow up so fast, momma, and even though there is stress and worry, it’s worth every single sacrifice. Enjoy it all as much as you possibly can! You’ll really miss it someday. ❤️
@@SummerMeyers I was asking a rhetorical question :) Unless they meant "Mom is" at the park, this was an incorrect title. And even so, that would not be a commonly used contraction in American culture: It just looks wrong. As a former home-school mom, I just wanted them to check because nothing is worse for home education than someone schooling their kids and making a basic grammar mistake publicly: It comes back on all of us and the world doesn't need more reason to doubt the quality of homeschooling, no matter the statistical mess that public education is in.
@@ctraini I'm not sure we are on the same page. There are multiple moms at the park. If this was a complete sentence (and not a title) it would be The homeschool moms are at the park. In which case there wouldn't be a contraction or a need for an apostrophe because they are not in possession of anything.
I guess the argument could be made that the sentence should be, "The homeschool moms that are at the park are crazy", but that still doesn't have the contraction or the possessive. Is it the "be like," that you don't care for? "Be like" videos are a common RU-vid style that we replicated to tease homeschoolers. I don't mean to beat a dead horse, or come off as passive aggressive. Just making sure I'm not missing something. 🙂
😆😆Haven't we all done a stint with CC at one point in life? Actually, that's not entirely true--I've never been in Classical Conversations! But they are famous for those songs! 😜❤
@@SummerMeyers doing well, thank God! Videos like this bring back memories, haha! I miss homeschooling, but I'm so glad everything has been working out school wise. The kids love it, and this mama has time to get work done! How are you doing? Your son is beautiful and so big!! My goodness, where has the time gone?!?!
Where has the time gone!? Everytime I look at the baby I'm just 😭😭😭 you're so big! Haha! I'm so glad your girls are thriving!! That's always a reason to celebrate. 🎉 Did you finish your dissertation?
🥰🥰 Thank you! This was a lot of fun to do, but so hard to get together with so many moving parts! 😅 I need to catch up on your videos! I took a hiatus on RU-vid and behind on all the things.
