We have two weeks left of school until we stop for summer break. I am taking time to put together portfolios with each of my kids. As I look over what we covered this year, it always amazes me to see how much we've done.
Sometimes in the day-to-day as homeschool moms, we think we aren't getting that much done, but when you step back to look at it all, it's a LOT!
At the end of the year, if you doubt whether you've done enough, I challenge you to get out a piece of paper and write down everything you covered this year.
Write down...
-what you did in Morning Time
-what you memorized
-your kids' independent work
-books you read to them
-books they read on their own
-co-op classes and projects
-extracurricular activities
-field trips
-life skills they learned
If you take the time to write this down, I guarantee that you will be surprised when you remember things you completely forgot that you did.
