Thank you for directing this to the kids! So great to hear it from another... and actually experienced... mom! God bless.

I love your energy about high schoolers. From one fellow YT to another, this message has to be heard because there are not many of us with high school channels. Many families stop homeschooling by this time. I'm saving this for future reference. Great Work!!!!!!

Great video! How is your 16 year old able to be done by 1pm? My high schooler spends 1 hour each on core subjects and she does all 4 daily not to talk about electives. She's going from 9-4 daily. How can we reduce the day does her so she can do more of what she loves? Thanks.

Thank you. To trim down the time your daughter is spending on school, you could look at subjects that don’t need to be done every day and could be done 2, 3, or 4 times a week. Some of those subjects could be the electives or even some of the core subjects. My son does about three subjects daily, the ones that need repetition, and then spreads out his other subjects through the week. He sometimes goes until 1:30-2:00, as he switches up his schedule for different things he does and places he goes in the day. The other thing he does, is he starts early… about 7:30-8:00am. Thanks for watching! 😊🌼

@@homeschooljoy oh, I see. We do Bible study as a family until 9am. Yes, I'm looking into maybe cutting some of her cores to 45 minutes and maybe making History 3 times weekly.

@@homeschooljoy do you recommend they take core dual classes at the local college or electives?

@@favored4life I would check the options you have with dual enrollment and see which ones your kids like. If the dual enrollment is college classes, I would favor those as they give benefits down the road for your kids. If it’s high school classes, ehhh, it doesn’t matter which way you do core classes, imho. 😊🌼

@@homeschooljoy I think I'm confusing myself. Aren't the ppint of all dual classes to receive credit in both college and high school credits? So if I know my student will need Physics in college, she should take it as dual credit so it satisfies both college and high school credits?
