This summer I posted a quick video on facebook about my new milk house that my husband built for me.
I had a ton of questions and interest about what I do, how it's set up and my routine. So I've made a farm page for exactly that.
I figured now that I've had this milk house in use for 7-8 mons, I'd post a video to show it off.
I still absolutely love it!
I've been milking for 10 years this year. I continue to grow every year it seems. I will always learn new things and try to tweak my process to better myself and my small operation.
I've learned a lot in 10 years but I'm never done learning. I will post videos on this page about how I do things for others that need ideas or just exposure on how others do things. I wish I had someone to help me when I started. Social media was still young when I started my dairy endeavors. We have been homesteading since before it was "cool" 🤣 but a milk cow was on my wish list since I was a kid. I grew up raising beef cattle but knew the dairy girls had a place in my life.
I hope my videos can help those that are learning or want the knowledge or experience. ❤️
