Wondering how many milkings you add to the tank before emptying and bottling? We're looking at getting a small tank, once a day milking, so just trying to figure out how many days we can go between bottling. Thanks!
I ummmm….wouldn’t the screwing give the calf more scar tissue then you would normally do it ? Also, please put numbing and sow it up . Im only saying this based off of human medicine practice but cattle and humans are both big warm blooded animals and have nervous systems , like, imagine your dad saying “ hay kid , time to take my screwdriver and sack cutter and get rid of your balls without any warning and pain killer :( “ and also , I’m a farmer and a girl so I may not have nuts but I can feel the lips trying to hide . Ps , I have very high pain tolerance and this makes me so scared .
1 sewing it up would kill him it needs to drain to prevent infection. 2 this seems extremely painful but after 2/3 days there pretty well back to normal and it prevents the meat from getting tainted and keeps from the chance once they get 6-800lb from breeding heifers and having complications.
I wish I had that as a kid me and my three brothers would have to carry carcasses by hand we had four hook that had rope attached and would put the hooks on each corner and then each of us pull the rope on our shoulder And move the carcass to were it need to go my dad would help when it to heavy we had a few big bulls that butchered that were pretty heavy
