Was still in the Marine Corps and walked into the bank right by the main gate on Camp Pendleton wearing my Jimmy G jersey the day or so after he was drafted and one of the ladies working came up to me and said my nephew was just drafted by the 49ers, Fred Warner. I told her Wow, I'd seen the draft and was super excited to have him. Now in 2023, He's "All Pro" Fred and hope he retires a 49er

I am an Australian 49ers supporter now for a long time. I can remember when I first watched Fred Warner play for the 49ers and concluded this guy is good and he going to become very good. This pen picture fills out his story and he is just as good off the field.

#54 is such a beautiful soul and an amazing person! I can't wait to see him in the 49ers Hall of Fame and part of the 10 year (+) club as well. Stay humble, stay hungry and stay healthy and one day, I pray that Canton also comes knocking on your door Mr. Warner! P.S. Keep listening to that old school music, it feeds your soul, keeps your roots watered and can turn a sad day into a happy one. We will see you on the field soon!

i love Willis one of my favorite players of all time was happy when we drafted him but Fred is right there with him and I hope we can do what we couldn't do for Willis and that's get Fred a ring and put him in the conversation as greatest line backer when his career is all said and done.

I had no idea he was from San Marcos/mission hills! I grew up in Chicago but moved to Oceanside 10 years ago and it’s become home. I just pulled his Prizm checkerboard card I had to look into his career. Seems like a great player and person. I just got to the part about playing against Oceanside!? That’s awesome. I was bummed I didn’t get a rookie at first now I’m hyped. Gonna start collecting his cards.

Fred is my fav player in the NFL (and Kittle). He’s just an amazing player and character. The way he told that one kid that really wants to be in the nf: “you will get there” I found so heartwarming. And Can you guys please make more videos like this, as I find them interesting and I can learn thes player’s backgrounds and how they grew up.
