Former Humboldt Broncos player, Xavier Labelle, was seriously injured in the bus crash on April 6, 2018. He’s hasn’t played hockey since, but the sport is helping Xavier heal from the tragedy.

I don't think the content owner has any control over that. RU-vid inserts ads where they want and you have to accept their terms.

So happy Xavier survived . I have a grandson Xavier since this awful accident . I remembered one of the player’s name was Xavier .

I remember seeing this story on the news about 9 hours after the accident and it was really depressing.

I believe I saw it on the news the day after! I was like holy crap I was in such a state of shock I couldn’t say anything at all! I didn’t want to believe it at all! What makes me mad about this whole thing is that it took the Humboldt tragedy to bring change to the big rig industry in Canada 🇨🇦! Just outrageous that it takes tragedies such as Humboldt to bring change!

Very good to hear these stories of how the survivors are doing. I didn't know any of the players or Bronco team members except for Dayna Brons she was my niece. In honor of the team and members I know the name's and faces. I didn't intentionally set out to do that, it just happened that way. Very happy to hear that things are going well for you Xavier, you are loved and cared about by people you don't know. And that's OK.😊💞❤

@ Audrey Hopfner - My condolences to you - I am very sorry for the loss of Dayna. I didn’t know any of the players, but I did follow the news coverage. I did get a little fund raising angel with a hockey stick - the families were all sent one with a green angel and a yellow Swarovski flower .

April 6 2021 will be the 3 year anniversary of the bus crash. ( April 6 2018) I am glad Xavier LaBelle is still involved in hockey - even coaching The Coroner needs to make sure that they use dental records in the future so something like this never happens again!!!!!

Been a huge hockey fan and Saskatchewan boy forever this whole situation brought me to tears many times through out it was just heart breaking

For a moment I thought this video would be about a young hockey-playing whippersnapper called "Dr. Oetker Giuseppe Pizzeria" and I looked at the guy in the thumbnail and confirmed my thoughts that "Yeah, that totally looks like someone called Dr. Oetker Giuseppe Pizzeria".

Nice to see this continued prayers to Xavier and all those involved in the horrible crash as they move forward and as the 1 yr anniversary comes closer. I am glad to see for his sake that the scar on his face seems to be lighter and less noticeable which should help cut down questions I feared he would always be answering of what happened when the scar was more visible.

Sorry to hear about this - I remember everything about this!! Thr LaBelle family thought their son was killed - Parker Tobin was the one that was killed . Misidentified!- his name was on a banner obituary - etc -
