The pain on their faces as the get on the ice breaks my heart. I can’t imagine what they went through and what they are going through. Praying for them.
Still hard to watch thinking these kids where only trying to get to live there dream and make it to the NHL I can remember the times I was on a long bus ride dreaming that same dream I wish nothing but the best for the Broncos and Humboldt
I´m from Germany and before that terrible accident i have never heard of the Broncos. Im just a normal hockey fan, but every Video I see of the Broncos I tear up and get goosebumps, it just breaks my heart everytime seeing these young guys who lost their lives. I have nothing but love for the Broncos, their families and the Community of Humboldt, Saskatchewan.
Marcus ya this happened 15 minutes away from my house as I was driving home and my older cousin is friends with like all of them and he was the very first person to make it there
I was only connected with the broncos through the hockey community and my heart is still crushed from this tragedy so I can’t even imagine having friends or family on that bus. Rip boys I no longer play for my team or the last name on the back of my jersey, I play for you, the survivors and the ones who lost their lives.
I can't imagine the emotions that must have been going through those boys' heads, returning to the ice without their teammates and after the trains of such an unimaginable tragedy. God bless them all ♥️
it is indeed. I dont play (never have) and while none of us could possibly imagine what they are going through, I can't help but ponder. It is horrible. My thoughts and prayers will always be with them. :(
I don't know. But a couple of the comments below said... "Ok media enough is enough ! Let these boys play hockey and live out their dreams !" "Haven't they milked this cow long enough" And maybe some people don't like how people can become so obsessed with a sport. Basically living and breathing hockey as if it's the most important thing when really it's not. I doubt any of the dislikes are because people don't care that people lost their lives, it's probably more to do with the big ordeal, making a lot of this about hockey and less about the individuals that lost their life. They were only on their way to play a hockey game yet the media makes it more about hockey, putting out sticks etc. But I dunno, just some thoughts.
I'm not gonna lie, I'm bawling my eyes out right now. I remember the night my Mom came into my room and asked if I knew who the Broncos were. And how when I said yes, she said something horrible had happened. I cried day after day for my hockey brothers, and I still do today. Nothing will ever make it better, but I still pray for them every day. We will always be #HumboldtStrong
The bond you build with your teammates in hockey is like none other. While some of these bonds were lost way to early, the ones remaining will become stronger then ever.
Man even today I watch this, and I sob. I’ve played hockey for 8 years and know first hand how much of a family teams and communities become. This is so emotional, forever Humoldt strong
proud to call myself a fan of this fantastic sport and the unity shown in the hockey community in regards to this unfortunate tragedy. I even got my first stick (which in the uk is rare to own) just to put outside my front door in respect. RiP Men, you will never be forgotten. :'(
I’d like to thank you for this wonderful tribute❤️ being from Humboldt and seeing that the whole world reacted like this is amazing. Brody Hinz the statistician was my 2nd cousin! Thank you for the tribute!
i appreciate all the people that care for my home town team that team should never be forgotten always remember the first responders and i encourage others to remember them😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 #HUMBOLTSTRONG
So moving and so hard for these young men to take the ice. You are in my thoughts and prayers. I'm a VolleyBall Mom from Fort Mac and my son travels all the time. It could have been any athlete. ((hugs)) and prayers.
This is a horrible tragedy....but to see the support that this team and town have received from all over the world is truly heartwarming..now it’s time for the media to step away and let them heal....not every moment moving forward needs to be an exclusive on the 6 o clock news or a highlight on Sportscentre....you’ve all done a great job telling this story but time to step back....
This accident made the news in New Zealand , Didn’t know about the Humbolt Broncos until I herd the news of accident on Facebook. Thought was pretty sad when I read about it on Facebook . Prayers from New Zealand. Go Broncos from New Zealand
why the dislikes this is a memory of the Humboldt Broncos what is wrong with these people? it is heartbreaking about April 6th I still Pray for you guys
It still something I think of. Now I got a nephew on a travelling on bus. The boys and coach all share that same face. Tough way to hang up the skates.
Still hard to watch it hurts. I got very emotional watching this video. I couldn’t stop crying. I started playing hockey and it’s my first year. And I’m thinking to get a custom made mouthguard that has the colours of the broncos. It will say Broncos on the mouthguard to support them while I play hockey.
Some spooky stuff is when the Swift Current Broncos had there bus crash the Humboldt Broncos won the SJHL cup and this year when Humboldt had there bus crash Swift Current won the WHL cup.
Hi ! This was very sad and I personally new Tyler Smith My dad coached him and I was very scared when I was told he was in a bus crash. He lived in my crescent and gave me my hockey net. Very much love - Maysa ❤️
the ones that walked out on to the ice in just regular street clothes. You can see it in their eyes and faces. Such a heavy burden they carry for young men. The one team mate that crouched down shortly after. I don't blame him. It's overwhelming on so many level.
