Bought a DriBuddi nearly 10 years ago and I pack it out every winter without fail. My kids' clothes can be removed after about 30 minutes! If it's really a cold day then I put it in my bedroom and it warms it up, bonus 🎉🎉
Alghamdullilah I've been working from home since lockdown and saved so much on petrol, I just got married 5months ago so during this time we've bought a smart TV which was such a step up from my husband's old one which had lines on it! I never watched TV! I just ordered our washing machine because laundromats are not a vibe and lastly hotel bedding from takealot.....LUXURY😳 and the best investment.
Bought a Dribuddi about 4years ago. Washing takes forever to dry even though I spin them for quite some time. I noticed it used so much electricity and each load would take about 3hours. Ended up investing in a tumble dryer, saves me half the time yet uses the same amount of electricity
I haven’t really shopped during lockdown. I have this fear of not wanting to spend money Incase I might need it 🤷🏽♀️ So crazy! But the one thing I bought was a Canon Printer from Takealot and it’s a lifesaver so now what ever my kids want to colour or I find a cool activity online I can just print it for them. I’ve only bought the printer and some Swiitch beauty products online this entire time😉
I don’t blame you! I wish I had the same discipline 🤭 to be honest I may have bought less if I knew how long we would be in lockdown and work would be less 🙈 I definitely underestimated this pandemic and kept shopping when I was sad 😭🙈

I helped one lady out and she sobbed OMG I couldn’t contain myself. Cos I always think that could’ve been my Mom or me or a family member! Shit I real tough because of this pandemic. I hear you! I think I've actually done less spending because of our current circumstances but a sis slipped up the other day lol! However, this pandemic has reminded me that life is short and tomorrow is not guaranteed so I wont even trip...but yes still need to spend wisely. At least you made a purchase your children can enjoy🤗
Honestly, if I don't renovate one room in our house while we are home...I'll feel so disappointed in myself😫. But this and other videos have been encouraging. Could def use a drawer organizer cuz lawwwwd lol! Also, I've been doing more clothing shopping than household shopping (trying to change that). I did a Shein lookbook with the links to all outfits. I needed to still dress like my summer isn't ruined lol
I was always interested in those dri buddy things cos our tumble dryer is so old! But the reviews weren't so great (I'm not sure if it's the same make as yours), and seriously. With this lockdown my washing seems to be breeding more washing every time I turn around. (and I do washing almost everyday, but with 4 kids....) I promised myself I am going to invent something to make laundry better. Love love home decor. Live for it actually. Studied and everything but ended up being a sahm. So my only fix is the home decor game that I play on my phone religiously. So thanks for the vid. 😘😘
Hi Aqeelah, you should really invest in a spindel. It has been a life saver for my laundry. It is an extra step but it’s so worth it. Google it. Takealot has it on special quite a lot.

I ordered something online for the first time from MRP, just before lockdown and I still haven’t received it. They haven’t reached out and I tried going into the store a few times and nothing. Not sure what else to do. I really want that light which is why I haven’t asked for a refund yet.
