Hehe, I remember fighting Battlestar once with my friend, so a 2v1. He absolutely wiped us, I think at the end he had something like six or seven carriers? That was quite hilarious and a nice lesson!
Thanks for the videos mate. They jog me down the memory lane of having a few mates messing around the game back in school, when we barely knew any English. Still remember the joy when one of us finally figured out how to get a battle cruiser deployed. Thanks for bringing up this gem of games, and reminding me of those precious moments.
Really happy to see you're still doing these, right on. Yellow did an amazing job holding it together, using those thundering bigger ships, excellent play on both sides. Red's heroic struggle at the end for many minutes after I personally called it. Really impressive how long they just held on and refused to submit until the end.

I got the remastered and the deserts almost a year ago but didn't have the opportunity to play them until now. I am enjoying it quite a lot and it is good to see an active community
is it me or do homeworld 1 factions have an edge over their sequel units as the homeworld 1 versions are on their own (Fighters and bombers) while meanwhile the homeworld 2 versions are in squadrons. Because more than ten homeworld 1 scouts can mess up a vaygur attack craft squadron easily.

I am kind of wondering how the red Kushan player contributed to the overall fight... other than the salvage corvettes and repair corvettes.. i feel what dreamlands said happened that when he sent his research ship to the back it got sniped and from then on the kushan player was on the back foot
I have Been having problems just getting into the game I’ll click into the menu where you chose what remaster you want to play and when I click on the home world remaster 2 it just closes the game
Great game, thank you for share!. Reason why the red team lost was because they got HW1 race in their team. 2.3v weakened HW1 too much... HW2 race can produce destroyer earlier(needs only one module and one research, while HW1 need to do 5 researches) and has faster production than HW1 and you can build 2 destroyers at the same time and more frequently, also the HW2 carriers(so OP)... also can build cloak generator without the research and building do not affect the production line, because it's module. 2.3 really improved and fixed mechanics of the units(corvettes finally works!). but HW1 was weakened a bit much... HW2 can produce game ending/core units faster... that's why almost everybody plays HW2 races...
HW1 is not weak in 2.3, please dont say things like this lol. Sky is a rising player but he's not what you'd call an "expert" on HW1 especially against people who know how to counter tech very well. You can ask anyone in the community about Robey's and Fear's HW1 play they will tell you it is very deadly and extremely hard to stop. Xeno is also a very adept HW1 player (he's playing all factions to get better in general) but race is never a reason why you lose in 2.3. People really need to stop underestimating support frigates/repair vetts and HW1 ions.... P.S. HW1 has best production in early game and late game, many different ways for HW1 to deal with fast destroyer and actually is the best faction to deal with quick destroyer builds. @@Michael-mi1fw I knew them. I played with them many times... and it's weak collected RU was 500 in 2.1v, now is 200RUs. HW1 collectors need more time to do one drop of RUs(also there is a glitch and HW1 collectors docks always twice to drop one cargo) than HW2. HW2 collectors cost less than HW1. Production? How many researches do you need to do for cloaking generator? How many researches do you need for HW2 carrier? Or on corvettes? Is HW1 able to produce 2 destroyers at the same time? Torpedo or heavy missile frigs has bigger firing range etc... formations do not still work great for HW1, so fighters battle always win HW2, because they fly in formation by 5. It's really hard to keep interceptors in one group but detached to wings by 5 interceptors. They will always merge or break formation... laser or missile corvettes are also more superior to heavy or multigun vettes etc... how many times HW2 destroyer jumped to my carrier or MS and destroyed my resource collectors while I was only on ion frigates.... do you really think 4 ion frigs can destroy hw2 destroyer? hw2 can easier switch between smallcraft, vettes, frigs or capitals. HW2 is more flexible in battle... I need to do many researches... HW1 need 2 researches to get interceptors and build it one by one, not wing by wing. The same for vettes. Also the docking is faster aaand if you will loose 2 from 3 vettes in the wing, 2 will be for free replaced if you will dock. Too bad for HW1... I need to do 3 researches to get heavy or MG vette. 4 if I need boths. HW2 do not need a single one. 5! researches to get destroyer. HW2 only one... 4 researches to be able produce carrier. HW2 none... really balanced... also HW2 destroyers are more agile and can fire on ships on the left flank, right flank, behind or in front of the destroyer. HW1 destroyers can fire only on target in front of the HW1 destoyers... etc... and the bonus. On in the lobby crimson bonds or other huge maps are frequently played by HW2 players, because HW1 can't rush effective in those maps, because they are huge... I can destroy HW2 with HW1 on smaller maps, but it's so hard on huge maps... and I can continue. Vettes works great in the 2.3v, but that's only one thing that I see positive as HW1 player... we can test it online today with timers in the hands...

Also from what I've seen of your play you're very new to the game (at least new to competitive multiplayer) so to be honest you don't really know what you're talking about when it comes to balance. If you'd bother to look at RU costs and time requirements they are roughly equal because of upgrades, please stop spouting ignorant facts because of what you perceive due to your skill level. Edit: Fighters in formation are bad for combat, they are slower and easier to kill. This is why evasive has been so strong in general and repeatedly gets nerfed.
HW1 is not weak at all in 2.3, they are one of the hardest races to master but it does not make them weak at all; I, as someone who started competitive MP with the Taiidan, can say that they are the hardest race to play as a new player HW1's units are overall superior to their HW2 counterpart, but if you don't pay attention to the differences in gameplay between the two, you're going to have a hard time Do not say such things, HW1 is just hard to play overall
