Hey Brian! Are you planning on doing an update video on your decision to make a transition to Homey? Would love to see how it went or how it's still going.
Great video. I really hope that Homey matures rapidly and supports more brands common in the USA. Sadly, last time I checked their site they were lacking several of the brands I own, especially Meross. Since the decline of the Alexa ecosystem (and my own growing needs) I have branched out to include Google Home and Smartthings. Now my home feels very fragmented. It would be nice to once again have everything working and automated under one hub with the ease of use that Amazon used to be.
There are a few missing pieces yet with Homey. Some of those brands are definitely missed. I think most companies are expecting Matter to fix this. Honestly...
This was great, Brian. Really appreciate the examples of Homey flow creation. With the new Aqara hub, wasn't quite sure which platform to go with, but I love the fancy flow logic you have. Just the sort of power I want in automations. Wish I could afford to get myself a HomeyPro right now, but maybe you'll have another code in the future.
Hey, Brian! Moods is great! However, is there a logic card or something else that can get the current state of a light? On/off, color, brightness, the whole nine. I like using certain lights to flash a certain color to signal different things. After the light flashes, I would like it to use that logic card to set the light to the exact previous state, before the flashing started. If the light was off, it should return to an off state when the flashing is over. If the light was a random blue that looked nice one day, it should return to that exact setting when the flashing is over, etc.
Can you please keep doing update on the echo wall hub.has it gotten better faster. Does the alarm only work with ring sensor or can I use Aqara sensor as my alarm on the echo wall hub ?
Building my house right now. Doing a unify network benefit of new house I can pre wire everything and thinking about using Homey as my smart hub. My question is can I use a tablet to display everything like an echo hub does but with homey.
You can, but it's different. You'll have to build your own interface. That's OK, it's fun! community.homey.app/t/whats-the-best-dashboard-for-homey/102577 Try that thread for some dashboard solutions.
I am very sorry for the inconveniences. I am very ill and use Google to automate my home to get bye. However it's crashing often, don't understand me so I want to switch to Homey pro and Alexa. Du tu my morphine pain treatment sometimes I am bit slow and English is not my native language. So I am very sorry that I not catch on right the 1 time Thank you for your help, time and answer. Eduard
@@AutomateYourLife thanks for quick reply, so still if you want multi colors you need to set the mode in the govee app first. Then the honey can turn that mode on and off right?
