considering how the water looks and that the "waste" in there could actually be some sort of poison, the fish likely just choked to death. they're very sensible to water quality. just imagine yourself being put into a closed room full of lethal gas. you wouldn't jump around for long either. also, the electrical hit the man felt, could likely be a reaction to the water tank being full of the homunculus's "poison", considering his first skin experience with it.

What to do next: 1. At least measure the voltage of the liquid. Check if this is an electric shock or delayed reaction to a "poison" 2. Feed smaller creatures such as a beta fish covered in his blood. Since it seems to eat protein covered in blood, this will test for if it is defense or offense. 3. Definitely, try to feed the fish directly to the homunculus. Measure the excrement afterwards for any changes in chemical composition (calcium). It might fully digest the fish or leave some bones

I believe that the electroshock ability may in fact, be a defensive tactic. Considering that it was introduced to a new being, it would not know if it was hostile or not, so, in tern, it decided to have a preemptive strike on the fish before it could have time to attack the homunculus.

I say he should get multiple containers with more species of the Homunculus in case one dies he can keep up a long term thing. And keep adding the creatures together to see what other kind of homunculus form. Because the biggest reaction was when the first two combined. Also would love to see the homunculus poked with a needle and extract some blood to put under magnifying glsss

I think it's both defensive and offensive. What if the liquid he's spewing out is on purpose to fill the environment with what would seem to be electromagnetic particles to be able to shock its prey or defend itself, since he doesn't really move and all. 🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️

From what I learned from high school bio, the original sperm did contain DNA of a human which has been modified for generations. An attempt to create a living being from a sperm means it has adapt to harsh conditions with it being an unprotected sperm and all. Thus, this electorotivity imo, is just an evolutionary feature of the humonculus. What I'm trying to say is human bodies only allow a certain amount of force to be produced by the muscle in order to protect itself but under extremely harsh conditions, evolution could increase this limit to adapt. And thus, the same theory can be attached to the homunculus. **Just Rambling. Don't roast me***

Leave the fish in there see if it finds a way to eat it also need to send the liquid to someone who can explain the exact contents of it and what is the voltage and amp that is being givin off by it also need to take accurate measurement of height with and so on treat it like a real experiment at least cover the basics
