you should be able to cut threads in shaft like a vertical has 3/8 fine threads. Heat and quench pulley it should come off might have to clean shaft

5hp push mower carburetor is totally different from an 11hp horizontal shaft

You may have to weld the appropriate pulley on to the driveshaft. What's $15 for a new carb??? Hahaha or $22 for the whole kit with air filter etc???

Henry, its a Honda! Its gotta run. If you put that in the cart you should be able to get rid of the small Honda gas tank and use the one in the cart. I think that would make a nice repower and still have the same HP. You'll probably need to tap threads in the end of the crank.😉🇺🇸Roger #mnblucas

Measure the length and width of crankshaft and pulley before trying to put Honda engine in golf cart. Also, measure mounting bolt holes and physical dimensions of both engines.

Someone should send Henry an idle tap and die set to do that job, Roger. I surely don't have one. A good suggestion though. Welding is another answer. Permanent one!!
