So I looked in my gun safe and realized I have way too many pew pews that I don't really use much. I also realized that I have an off road RU-vid channel and I could use a small nimble off road exploration vehicle. That being said, an ATV would be a perfect machine to own if you live next to the Tahoe National Forest like I do.
So I downsized my gun collection and bought a 2004 Honda 400EX sport ATV. It was affordable at $2,000 and its one of the most reliable, simple, nimble little ATVs ever built.
I think I got lucky because these old ATVs are getting harder to find in decent shape and if you do find one they are slowly going up in price. 5 years ago you could buy one of these for $1000.
I'll try and tinker with this machine and maybe ad some upgrades like beadlock wheels, bumpers, skid plates and anything that catches my eye over time.
