G'day mate from Australia IV owned the exact same bike colour and all from brand new IV just ridden over 352000 KMs on my Honda Hornet it's been an amazingly reliable motorcycle over the last 23 odd years
Sounds just like mine. Is that cadence normal for a 919? I was wondering if I needed to do a starter valve adjustment (also known as a throttle body sync) because I've seen a few idle smoother without the "whump whump whump" sound. But yeah, is it normal? I prefer it but if it's a symptom of a problem better safe than sorry.
mine does it too with the devil exhaust cans, can literally watch the rpm needle jump up and down slightly, everything seems great otherwise, odometer was broke when i bought it at 32k mile, has to be over 40k now atleast.
