Great video, all meat and potatoes. I hate when they want to give you a whole backstory about how thier uncle Billy Bob bought it from thier second cousin cause thier wife was having a kid and you get my point. I like your style, right to the point.👍
Would this baring cause my 420 to grab to fast and like jump forwards when shifting to first from neutral? I tried to adjust it but couldn’t get it to stop jumping.
On my 300 when decelerating there is a grinding noise could it be from a one way bearing? The noise sounds like a bad bearing everything else is fine except when slowing down. Any ideas?
On my 250ex would mine being backwards cause it to jerk and stall when going into gear almost like riding a bike with a clutch but it’s not soposed to need a clutch lol
I’m getting kinda a clunk/ snap out of mine when it’s cold. Sounds like it’s coming from the centrifugal but haven’t experienced any other symptoms. It goes away once the motor is completely warmed up. Any ideas? I’m thinking possibly could be this bearing? Thanks for any input!
im trying to diagnose a fault with my honda300. The motor runs fine idles and revs perfect. I can select gears fine. but the drive will not go to the gearbox. I cannot kickstart the motor. but with a gear selected i can drive the wheels with the kickstart. Any advice on where to start?
Hi , my centrifugal clutch is the sma eas this but at the rear of mine the springs I think they are seem loose . They are built into the drum so I cant access them . One is like a yellow colour and doesnt move . Does this sound right , the rest make a slight rattle when rotated
Would this cause the clutch to slip as well just replaced clutch in honda recon both of them and it does free spin but would it also cause the slipping as well
Good video. My 2005 trx500 foreman won't shift out of reverse when cold unless you yank up on the foot lever until it's at operating temperature. Then it is fine. Could that be the problem.
Thanks man! This helped a bunch. The FSM lacks a diagram of this. They explain it, but don’t show it. Quick question though, I replaced the cam chain on my 98 fourtrax 300, put the side cover back on and the kick start seems like it just spins, doesn’t feel like it catches the engine, would a bad one way beating cause that as well?
SolitudeCustoms that’s what I had thought, I’ll just replace it when I pull the engine to rebuild the top end. On a 2wd version I should be able to pull the engine without pulling the rear tires and plastics off, right?
I have a 17 model 500 rubicon, and it's very hard to shift gears and I do have a starter issue too. I've never worked on a Honda so could anyone help with that?
